    How many questions are on the PfMP exam and how long is it?

    The PfMP exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours. Questions are distributed across the five domains: Strategic Alignment (25%), Governance (20%), Portfolio Performance (25%), Portfolio Risk Management (14%) and Communications Management (16%).

    What is the PfMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PfMP. A panel of portfolio management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It must be passed in addition to the written exam to earn the credential.

    What is the passing score for the PfMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so focus on broad mastery across all five domains.
