    Is this a certification course or an exam-based programme?

    No. This is a non-certification, skills-focused course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through live hands-on exercises, and on completion you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning.

    Should I take the Fundamentals or Advanced level?

    Choose Fundamentals (2 days) if you are new to Jira or use it occasionally and want confident everyday skills. Choose Advanced (3 days) if you already use Jira and want to master workflows, schemes, automation, advanced JQL, integrations and administration. You can take either level alone or both in sequence.

    Is Jira in demand with employers in Azerbaijan?

    Is there an exam at the end of the training?

    Do I need prior experience to take the Fundamentals level?

    No. The Fundamentals level has no prerequisites and is designed for people new to Jira. Basic familiarity with web applications is enough; some awareness of Agile or project concepts helps but is not required.

    What do I need before taking the Advanced level?

    You should have completed the Fundamentals level or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience. Familiarity with Jira project structure and basic configuration will help you get the most from the Advanced content.

    Course Content

    What topics does the Fundamentals level cover?

    Fundamentals covers Jira navigation, project types, the issue hierarchy, issue management, the Scrum board and sprints, the Kanban board and WIP limits, roadmaps, Versions and Components, saved filters, basic JQL and the core Agile reports.

    What topics does the Advanced level cover?

    Advanced covers custom workflow design, permission, notification, screen and field configuration schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira Automation, integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub and CI/CD, and Jira administration.

    Is the training hands-on or theory-based?

    It is highly hands-on. The trainer demonstrates each feature while you follow along in a live Jira environment, using realistic Agile delivery scenarios so the skills transfer directly into your day-to-day work.

    Will I learn JQL and automation?

    Yes. You learn basic JQL and filters at Fundamentals level and advanced JQL, dashboards and no-code Jira Automation rules at Advanced level, so you can find work fast and remove repetitive manual tasks.

    Does the course cover Jira administration?

    Yes, at Advanced level. You learn user and group management, global configuration, project administration and health, re-indexing awareness and governance best practices, which prepares you for a Jira administrator role.
