What You Gain from Quality Function Deployment Training in ZambiaUntitledFrom Voice of the Customer to Design
Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a structured, customer-driven methodology that translates the Voice of the Customer into specific engineering and process characteristics at every stage of product and service development. Quality Function Deployment Training in Zambia gives you the practical skills to capture customer requirements, build and interpret the House of Quality matrix, and cascade those requirements from product planning through to production. The methodology was developed in Japan by Yoji Akao and Shigeru Mizuno, with its first formal application at Mitsubishi's Kobe Shipyard in 1972. Its central tool, the House of Quality, links what customers want to how a design will deliver it, so teams design quality in rather than inspect it in at the end. You will work through the full four-phase QFD system: product planning, parts deployment, process planning and production planning. This is a practical, non-certification skills programme with no examination. Delivered in live virtual, classroom and onsite formats, it suits product designers, quality engineers, product managers and Six Sigma practitioners across Zambia's manufacturing, mining, agro-processing and services sectors. You leave able to run a Voice of the Customer workshop and build a House of Quality for your own product, and you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning.
