    What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

    The PMI-ACP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published in January 2018. Questions are distributed across seven agile domains and delivered online proctored or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 120 questions and a three-hour allotted time. It covers seven agile domains, from Agile Principles and Mindset to Continuous Improvement, per the current exam content outline.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP?

    PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, and performance is reported by domain as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement. Aim for broad mastery across all seven domains.

    Where can I take the PMI-ACP exam in Zambia?

    You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or the office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website once your application is approved.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    Anyone can attend the training to build agile skills and earn the 21 contact hours. However, to sit the PMI-ACP exam you must also meet PMI's project and agile experience requirements, so the credential suits practitioners with hands-on agile exposure.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 120-question, three-hour format, plus topic-wise revision to help you identify weak areas and build confidence before exam day.
