    How long is the ASF certification valid?

    The certification is valid for life. It does not expire, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement.

    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The exam is closed book with 40 single-answer, multiple-choice questions. It is taken online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    How many questions are on the ASF exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 questions and a time limit of 60 minutes (one hour).

    What is the passing score for the ASF exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 out of 40 questions answered correctly.

    What topics does the ASF exam cover?

    Five topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Practices (30%), Scrum Planning and Estimation (20%), Monitoring Scrum Projects (15%) and Advanced Scrum Concepts (15%).

    What happens if I do not pass the first time?

    You can re-sit the EXIN exam. Our training includes practice questions, mock exams and trainer guidance to help you prepare for a first-attempt pass. Confirm re-sit fees with EXIN or your advisor.
