What Is Six Sigma Awareness Training?UntitledA One-Day Foundation in Process Excellence
Six Sigma Awareness Training in South Africa is a one-day, non-certification course that introduces Six Sigma, a data-driven approach to reducing process variation and eliminating defects. Developed at Motorola in the 1980s and made famous by GE, Six Sigma targets fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities (DPMO) and uses the DMAIC roadmap (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) to improve existing processes. The programme suits employees, managers and leaders who work alongside Six Sigma practitioners but do not need to become Green Belts or Black Belts. In a single day you gain the vocabulary, key concepts and DMAIC awareness to support improvement projects across manufacturing, mining, banking and services. There is no exam. Learning is reinforced through discussion, case studies and team exercises, and you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. It is an ideal first step before Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt training.
