Is PRINCE2 recognised by employers in Uzbekistan?

Yes. PRINCE2 is recognised worldwide across more than 200 countries and is valued by employers in IT, banking, construction, energy and the public sector. It is also widely expected on donor-funded and cross-border projects that run in Uzbekistan.

How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle, and Practitioner can be renewed by re-taking the exam, completing CPD via a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher PRINCE2 qualification.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 60 per cent, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests your knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method and has no formal prerequisites.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the PRINCE2 manual. It has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes, and requires 60 per cent, which is 42 out of 70. It is scenario-based and tests how you apply and tailor PRINCE2.

Do I need Foundation before taking Practitioner?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D, is required before the Practitioner exam. The combined programme covers both levels so you can sit each exam in sequence.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online through their proctored system available around the clock, or at an authorised test centre. They are usually arranged through your accredited training as a combined package.

What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can re-sit a PeopleCert exam if needed. Re-sit fees and policy are confirmed by PeopleCert, and our training includes mock exams and preparation support to help you pass. Ask your advisor about retake options for your plan.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

Open book means you may use the official PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual during the Practitioner exam. You can refer to it, but strong time management matters because questions require analysis and judgment, not simple look-up. The training teaches manual-navigation technique.
