    Yes. As Uganda's banks, telecoms and over 180 fintech firms adopt Scrum to deliver faster, certified Scrum Masters are in demand. The credential opens Scrum Master, agile coach and delivery roles, with Scrum Master pay typically around USh 2M to 5M a month.

    Who should take the Agile Scrum Master course?

    The course suits practising and aspiring Scrum Masters, project managers moving into agile delivery, team and technical leads, and agile coaches. It is ideal for professionals in IT, banking, telecom and fintech who facilitate Scrum for their teams.

    Do I need the Foundation certificate or prior experience?

    EXIN recommends Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge as a starting point, but it is generally not strictly required to sit the ASM exam. Some Scrum familiarity helps, and the training covers the framework so motivated beginners can follow along.

    How long is the ASM certification valid?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master certification is valid for life. There is no expiry, renewal or continuing-education requirement, so once you pass you hold the credential permanently.

    Is the EXIN exam fee included in the course price?

    It depends on the package you choose. EXIN bills the exam separately in USD or EUR, and some training bundles include the voucher while others do not. Confirm with our team before you enrol so there are no surprises.

    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice paper of 40 questions with a 90-minute time limit. Questions test application and analysis of the Scrum Master role, not just recall.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions correct. The training focuses on broad mastery across all five topic areas so you are ready for scenario-based questions.

    How is the ASM exam delivered in Uganda?

    You can take the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Booking is arranged through EXIN or an accredited training provider.

    What does the ASM exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Master Role (25%), Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control (27.5%), Complex Projects (12.5%) and Adopting Agile (15%).

    What happens if I do not pass the first time?

    You can resit the EXIN exam; current resit fees and policy are confirmed by EXIN at booking. Our training includes mock exams and exam-technique guidance to help you prepare thoroughly for your first attempt.

    What topics does the ASM training cover?

    Training covers the agile mindset, the Scrum Master role and servant leadership, agile estimation and sprint planning, monitoring with burndown and velocity, complex and scaled projects, and supporting agile adoption across the organisation.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. Foundation-level Scrum knowledge is recommended but the course revisits the framework, so committed beginners can keep pace. It is well suited to professionals stepping into the Scrum Master role for the first time.

    What learning resources are included?

    You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions mapped to the exam topics, full-length mock exams, and reference material on the Scrum framework and Scrum Master role to support your revision.

    How long is the Agile Scrum Master training?

    The programme runs for about 16 hours, usually delivered over two full days or four half-days. It serves as practical exam preparation and Scrum Master competency development.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest EXIN specification?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification and the Scrum Guide, so what you study matches what the exam assesses.
