    How long is the ASF certification valid?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation certification is valid for life. It does not expire and requires no renewal, re-examination or continuing education, so once you pass you hold the credential permanently.

    Is the EXIN ASF recognised internationally?

    Yes. EXIN is an internationally recognised examination body operating in over 165 countries, with strong presence in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. EXIN Agile Scrum certifications are recognised by employers globally, including across Uganda.

    How much does Agile Scrum Foundation training cost in Uganda?

    What is included in the course fee?

    The fee usually includes EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions, full mock exams, first-attempt exam guidance and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies by package, so confirm this when you request your quote.

    Is the EXIN exam fee included in the training price?

    It depends on the package. EXIN exam pricing varies by region and purchasing channel, and some bundles include the voucher while others price it separately. Ask your advisor which option applies to your enrolment.

    Exam

    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is based on the EXIN examination specification and aligned to the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto principles.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and you have 60 minutes to complete it. It is delivered online with proctoring or at an EXIN accredited test location.

    What is the passing score for the EXIN ASF exam?

    The pass mark is 65%, so you must answer at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. The training and mock exams are designed to help you reach that standard with confidence.

    Are there any prerequisites for the exam?

    No. The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation has no formal prerequisites. It is the entry-level credential in the EXIN Agile Scrum scheme and is open to everyone, regardless of education, experience or prior agile knowledge.

    What topics does the exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas from the EXIN specification: Agile Way of Thinking, Scrum Practices, Scrum Planning and Estimation, Monitoring Scrum Projects, and Advanced Scrum Concepts.

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    You can re-sit the EXIN exam; verify the current re-sit policy and any fee with EXIN. Our training includes first-attempt guidance, practice questions and mock exams to give you the best chance of passing the first time.

    Course Content

    What will I learn in the Agile Scrum Foundation course?

    You will learn the agile mindset and Agile Manifesto, the full Scrum framework of roles, events and artifacts, agile planning and estimation, progress tracking with burndown and velocity, and advanced Scrum concepts, all mapped to the EXIN syllabus.

    Do I need prior agile experience to take this course?

    No prior agile or Scrum experience is needed. The course starts from first principles and is built for complete beginners, so students and career changers can follow it comfortably.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and full mock exams, plus notes and quizzes to reinforce each topic area before your exam.

    How long is the training programme?

    The instructor-led programme runs for 16 hours, delivered as two full days or four half days depending on the schedule. This covers all five exam topic areas and prepares you for the EXIN exam.

    Is the courseware aligned to the current EXIN syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification and grounded in the latest Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto principles.

    How do I enrol in the Agile Scrum Foundation course?
