Turn Everyday Problems into Continuous ImprovementUntitledThe Kaizen Way of Working

Kaizen Training in Turkey is a practical continuous improvement programme that teaches teams to apply Kaizen, the Japanese philosophy of change for the better, to eliminate waste and improve everyday processes. Rooted in the Toyota Production System and popularised by Masaaki Imai in his 1986 book Kaizen: The Key to Japan's Competitive Success, the method builds improvement into daily work through small, team-based steps rather than rare, large projects. Over a focused one-day programme you learn the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, how to spot the eight wastes at the Gemba, and how to plan and run a structured Kaizen event from current-state mapping through to standard work. Hands-on simulation exercises let you practise facilitating an improvement event before you lead one at work. The training suits operations, quality and process improvement professionals across Turkey's automotive, white goods, textile and food sectors, where lean thinking is already part of the factory floor. This is a skills-focused programme with no formal assessment to sit; you build capability you can apply immediately and receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning.

Why Kaizen Training in Turkey Pays off at WorkSkills You Can Use Straight Away

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

Kaizen training helps professionals turn improvement from a rare project into an everyday discipline. You learn to run structured events, involve the whole team and make changes that hold, which is exactly what Turkish manufacturers value on the shop floor. Whether you are a production engineer, quality specialist, team leader or lean coordinator, the programme gives you a shared method and a common language for improvement that you can put to work the very next day.

If you want to move from doing the work to improving how the work is done, Kaizen is a clear starting point. You gain a practical toolkit, hands-on facilitation practice and the confidence to lead change that your team and your employer can measure.

    • Learn to facilitate a full Kaizen event, from Gemba observation to standard work
    • Spot and remove the eight wastes that slow down everyday processes
    • Apply the PDCA cycle to solve problems at the root, not just the symptom
    • Use proven lean tools such as 5S, standard work and the Kaizen newspaper
    • Build a daily improvement habit that keeps gains from slipping back
    • Stand out for continuous improvement and operational excellence roles
    • Practise on realistic scenarios before you lead an event on the floor
    • Carry skills that transfer across manufacturing, services and logistics
    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Group Kaizen training helps organisations build continuous improvement capability by equipping cross-functional teams with a shared method for tackling waste and process problems. It can be delivered for a single line, a plant or several sites. For manufacturers under pressure to cut cost and lift quality, training a team together means improvement events can be facilitated with one common approach and vocabulary across operations, quality, engineering and maintenance.

If your teams know lean in theory but struggle to run and sustain improvement events, group Kaizen training closes that gap. Employees leave able to plan, facilitate and hold gains, so improvement becomes a routine part of how the business runs.

    • Builds a shared continuous improvement language across cross-functional teams
    • Turns lean theory into facilitated events that deliver measurable results
    • Reduces waste, cycle time, defects and changeover across production lines
    • Embeds standard work and audits so improvements are sustained
    • Engages front-line operators as active contributors to improvement
    • Supports Industry 4.0 and operational excellence programmes
    • Scales through onsite, live virtual or blended delivery for teams
    • Strengthens in-house capability to run a pipeline of Kaizen events

Market Pressures Making Continuous Improvement Skills Valuable

    Export and Cost Pressure

Currency volatility and tough export competition push Turkish manufacturers to cut every avoidable cost. Kaizen attacks the eight wastes directly, freeing capacity without heavy capital spend.

Kaizen targets the eight wastes at source

    A Deep Automotive Supply Chain

Marmara's OEMs and tier suppliers must show continuous improvement to meet demanding customer standards. Structured Kaizen events deliver the measurable, repeatable gains those audits expect.

    Kaizen builds event facilitation skills

    A Facilitation Skills Gap

Many teams know lean in principle but few can plan and run a Kaizen event end to end. Trained facilitators are scarce, so people with this skill quickly become valuable on the floor.

Kaizen turns lean theory into practice

    Gains That Slip Back

Improvements often fade once the initial push is over. Kaizen embeds standard work, visual management and audits so hard-won gains are held rather than lost within months.

    Kaizen builds standard work discipline

    The Industry 4.0 Transition

Digital twins and major retooling now feature in many new Turkish plants. Kaizen supports the line balancing, waste removal and flow improvement that make these investments pay off.

Kaizen supports line balancing and flow

    Margin Pressure Across Sectors

Textile, food and white goods producers work on thin margins. Daily Kaizen lifts productivity, reduces changeover time and cuts defects through many small, sustainable improvements.

    Kaizen lifts everyday productivity

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Kaizen training is a practical, one-day continuous improvement programme that teaches teams to eliminate waste and improve processes through small, structured, team-based changes. It suits operations and manufacturing managers, lean coordinators, production supervisors, team leaders, quality engineers and process improvement professionals.

It suits operations and manufacturing managers, lean coordinators, production supervisors, team leaders, quality engineers and process improvement professionals.

Yes. Kaizen skills are in steady demand across Turkey's automotive, white goods, textile and food sectors, where lean thinking is already embedded. Learning to facilitate improvement events and sustain gains helps you stand out for continuous improvement and operational excellence roles.

Kaizen means change for the better in Japanese. It was developed within the Toyota Production System and introduced to Western business by Masaaki Imai in his 1986 book Kaizen: The Key to Japan's Competitive Success. It is now a core discipline in lean management, Six Sigma and total quality management.

No. There are no formal prerequisites and the course introduces every concept from first principles. Some familiarity with lean ideas such as waste and flow is helpful but not required, so the training is open to anyone involved in leading or joining improvement work.

The programme runs for one day, or eight hours in total, and can also be delivered as two half-day sessions. It covers the Kaizen philosophy, the PDCA cycle, planning and running an event, lean tools and sustaining improvement, with hands-on simulation throughout.

    General

What is Kaizen training and who is it for?

Kaizen training is a practical, one-day continuous improvement programme that teaches teams to eliminate waste and improve processes through small, structured, team-based changes. It suits operations and manufacturing managers, lean coordinators, production supervisors, team leaders, quality engineers and process improvement professionals.

Is Kaizen training worth it for professionals in Turkey?

Yes. Kaizen skills are in steady demand across Turkey's automotive, white goods, textile and food sectors, where lean thinking is already embedded. Learning to facilitate improvement events and sustain gains helps you stand out for continuous improvement and operational excellence roles.

What is the origin of the Kaizen method?

Kaizen means change for the better in Japanese. It was developed within the Toyota Production System and introduced to Western business by Masaaki Imai in his 1986 book Kaizen: The Key to Japan's Competitive Success. It is now a core discipline in lean management, Six Sigma and total quality management.

Do I need prior lean experience to attend?

No. There are no formal prerequisites and the course introduces every concept from first principles. Some familiarity with lean ideas such as waste and flow is helpful but not required, so the training is open to anyone involved in leading or joining improvement work.

How long is the Kaizen training programme?

The programme runs for one day, or eight hours in total, and can also be delivered as two half-day sessions. It covers the Kaizen philosophy, the PDCA cycle, planning and running an event, lean tools and sustaining improvement, with hands-on simulation throughout.

    Pricing

How much does Kaizen training cost in Turkey?

Pricing varies by delivery mode, group size and format, so individual and corporate rates differ. Fees are available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a tailored quote for your team or ask about group pricing for onsite delivery.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all six Kaizen modules, hands-on event simulation exercises, structured courseware and reference materials, learner support and a course completion record from Invensis Learning. Request a quote for the full inclusions.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, plants and cross-functional units. Training a team together is particularly effective because they can practise a Kaizen event on your own real processes. Ask about corporate pricing.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that best fits you or your organisation.

Is the training good value for money?

Yes. In one focused day your team gains a method that keeps paying back through reduced waste, faster changeovers and fewer defects. Because improvements are made by the team and sustained with standard work, the return builds over time. Request a quote to plan your programme.

    Assessment And Certificate

Is there an assessment at the end of the course?

No. This is a non-certification, skills-focused course with no formal assessment. Learning is reinforced through hands-on workshop simulation exercises, team activities and group discussion during the one-day programme.

Do I receive anything on completion?

Yes. You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. The training builds practical Kaizen facilitation and continuous improvement skills that you can apply in the workplace straight away.

Will I be able to run a Kaizen event afterwards?

Yes. After the training you can plan an event, select the target, set objectives and assemble a team, then facilitate it through Gemba observation, root-cause analysis, future-state design, implementation and standardisation, and hold the gains with follow-up.

How is learning reinforced without a test?

Learning is applied rather than examined. Throughout the day you take part in realistic Kaizen event simulations, team exercises and discussion, so you practise facilitating an improvement event before you lead one at work.

Does this course lead to a formal qualification?

No. Kaizen has no governing body or formal qualification, so the course does not award one. It builds recognised, practical continuous improvement skills, and you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning that reflects your participation.

    Course Content

What topics does the Kaizen training cover?

The syllabus spans six modules: the Kaizen philosophy, the PDCA cycle and thinking tools, planning a Kaizen event, running an event phase by phase, lean tools in practice such as 5S and standard work, and sustaining improvement to build a continuous improvement culture.

What lean tools will I learn to use?

You learn to apply the PDCA cycle, the Gemba walk, the eight wastes captured by DOWNTIME, 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis, 5S, standard work, the spaghetti diagram, cycle-time observation and the Kaizen newspaper for tracking actions.

Is the training hands-on or theory based?

It is hands-on. Alongside concept explanation and real-world examples, you take part in workshop simulation exercises where you plan and practise elements of a Kaizen event, so you can apply the method with confidence at work.

    Does Kaizen apply outside manufacturing?

Yes. While Kaizen originated in manufacturing, its principles apply in healthcare, logistics, financial services, IT and any sector where teams want continuous, sustainable process improvement through structured, team-based events.

How does Kaizen relate to value stream mapping?

They are closely linked. Value stream mapping highlights where waste, bottlenecks and long lead times sit across a process, and Kaizen events are then planned and run at those priority points. Many teams learn the two together, mapping first and improving next.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the Kaizen course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. A learning advisor can help you pick the right option.

What training formats are available in Turkey?

The course is offered as live online instructor-led training, in-person classroom sessions and customised onsite corporate training for teams. Choose the format that fits your schedule and, for groups, your production availability.

    How soon can I start?

Public sessions run on a regular schedule and corporate onsite dates are arranged to suit your team. See upcoming schedules or talk to a learning advisor to find the next available session that works for you.

Can Kaizen training be delivered at our site?

Yes. We deliver onsite corporate training across Turkey so a cross-functional team can learn together. Onsite delivery lets participants practise a Kaizen event on your own real processes, which makes the learning immediately useful. Ask about onsite group options.

    Can I reschedule my enrolment?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or transfer to another session on selected plans. Contact our support team to arrange a change and confirm the terms that apply to your enrolment.
