Industry Pressures Driving Demand for QFD in Turkey

    Rising Export Quality Expectations

Turkey exports over 35 billion USD in vehicles and components, mostly to demanding European buyers who expect traceable design quality, the exact link QFD is built to create.

QFD links customer requirements to design specifications

    Costly Late-Stage Design Changes

Rework and warranty costs climb when design conflicts surface during prototyping. The QFD correlation roof exposes trade-offs early, before they become expensive to fix.

    QFD builds early conflict-resolution skills

Voice of the Customer Lost in Handoffs

Customer requirements often get diluted between marketing and engineering. The House of Quality keeps every need visible and traceable through to the final specification.

    QFD makes customer needs traceable

    APQP and Supplier Quality Demands

Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers must demonstrate requirement traceability in quality audits. QFD provides the structured backbone for APQP and customer-driven design planning.

    QFD underpins APQP deliverables

    Scarce Customer-Driven Design Skills

Turkey has deep engineering talent but few professionals trained in structured Voice of the Customer to design translation, making QFD skills a clear differentiator.

    QFD sets trained professionals apart

    Design for Six Sigma Adoption

As manufacturers adopt Design for Six Sigma, demand grows for the QFD skills that anchor the DMADV Measure phase and translate customer needs into critical-to-quality targets.

QFD is the core DFSS Measure-phase tool

How much does QFD training cost in Turkey?

Pricing varies by delivery format (online, classroom or corporate onsite) and group size, so exact fees are available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a tailored quote for individual or team training in Turkey.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all six QFD modules, hands-on House of Quality exercises, structured courseware and templates, learner support and a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Request a quote for the full inclusions that apply to your chosen format.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate and group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for product, quality and R&D teams. It is particularly effective delivered onsite, where teams build a House of Quality for one of your own products. Ask about corporate pricing.

Are there discounts for team enrolments?

Group enrolments are priced on a per-team basis, and larger cohorts usually attract better rates. Talk to a learning advisor about the number of participants you want to train and we will prepare a group quote.

How do I get a quote for QFD training?

Use the request a quote form or speak with a learning advisor. Tell us your preferred format, timing and number of participants, and we will send pricing and upcoming schedules for QFD training in Turkey.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for this QFD course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on House of Quality construction exercises, case studies and team discussion during the programme, so you practise the method as you learn it.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after finishing the programme. This recognises your participation and the practical QFD skills you have built; it is not a formal external credential.

How is learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply the method directly: structuring the Voice of the Customer, classifying needs with the Kano model, and building and interpreting a complete House of Quality using realistic scenarios throughout the day.

Does this course award a formal QFD certification?

No formal certification is awarded, as QFD has no single governing body or examination. The course builds practical, immediately applicable skills grounded in the quality management and Design for Six Sigma disciplines, and you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning.

How does QFD support Six Sigma work?

QFD is a core tool in the Design for Six Sigma DMADV Measure phase and the DMAIC Define phase, where it translates the Voice of the Customer into critical-to-quality requirements. Green Belt and Black Belt practitioners apply the QFD skills from this course directly in their projects.

    Course Content

What topics does the QFD training cover?

The course covers six modules: QFD principles and the business case, capturing the Voice of the Customer, building the House of Quality, interpreting it, cascading QFD through four phases, and applying QFD in Design for Six Sigma, DMAIC and service design.

What will I be able to do after the course?

You will be able to capture and structure customer needs, build a complete House of Quality, calculate design priorities, resolve conflicts through the correlation roof, cascade requirements through parts, process and production planning, and apply QFD within Six Sigma projects.

Does the course cover the four-phase QFD system?

Yes. You learn to cascade requirements through all four phases: product planning (the House of Quality), parts deployment, process planning and production planning, creating a documented, traceable link from every customer requirement to a production control.

Is QFD useful for services and software, not just manufacturing?

Yes. Although QFD began in manufacturing, the course covers its use in services such as healthcare and financial services, and in software, where user requirements are translated into architecture and test criteria. The House of Quality applies wherever customer needs shape design.

    What hands-on practice is included?

You practise structuring the Voice of the Customer with an affinity diagram, classifying requirements with the Kano model, building a full House of Quality from a realistic scenario, calculating column importance, and identifying design hot spots and conflicts.
