Market Forces Driving Demand for Certified Risk Leaders in Tunisia

    Basel and BCT Regulatory Tightening

PMI-RMP builds risk strategy and governance skills

    Renewable Energy Megaprojects

Tunisia approved over 2.3 GW of wind and solar for 2026 alongside a USD 430M energy modernisation programme. These capital projects demand structured risk aggregation and grid-integration risk control.

PMI-RMP builds risk analysis and response skills

    Offshoring and IT Delivery Risk

Smart Tunisia and a growing offshoring base run hundreds of concurrent client projects. Delivery leaders need formal risk identification and response skills to protect timelines, budgets and client trust.

    PMI-RMP builds risk identification skills

    AML/CFT and Compliance Pressure

    Scarce Certified Risk Talent

Tunisia's talent pool is deep in project managers but thin in credentialed risk specialists. The PMI-RMP eligibility bar makes certified holders rare, visible and sought-after by regional employers.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Yes. Certified risk roles typically command a pay premium over general project roles. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

    General

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Tunisia?

Yes. The PMI-RMP is a globally recognised PMI credential that sets specialist risk professionals apart, and it is in growing demand across Tunisia's banking, energy, telecom and consulting sectors. Certified risk roles typically command a pay premium over general project roles. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management, recognising expertise in identifying risks, mitigating threats and capitalising on opportunities. It suits risk managers, PMO analysts, senior project managers and consultants who specialise in managing project risk.

Is PMP required before taking the PMI-RMP?

No. The PMP is not a prerequisite for the PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many holders do carry both credentials, as they are highly complementary, but it is not required.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP?

PMI offers three routes. Set A: a secondary diploma plus 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years and 40 hours of risk education. Set B: a bachelor's degree plus 24 months and 30 hours. Set C: a GAC-accredited degree plus 12 months and 30 hours. Experience must be specifically in project risk management.

    Is the PMI-RMP recognised internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential, the PMI-RMP is recognised by employers worldwide and is especially valued in high-risk sectors such as banking, energy, construction and IT, where formal project risk management is often required.

    Pricing

How much does PMI-RMP training cost in Tunisia?

Training fees vary by format (live virtual, onsite or corporate group) and are available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD under regional pricing, and is not part of the training fee. Request a quote for current pricing in your preferred format.

What is included in the PMI-RMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware mapped to the ECO, practice questions, mock exams, application guidance, learner support and a course completion certificate with 32 contact hours. The PMI exam fee is paid separately to PMI.

How much is the PMI-RMP exam fee?

For reference, the PMI-RMP exam is around USD 520 for PMI members and USD 670 for non-members; verify current fees at pmi.org, as prices vary by region. PMI membership (about USD 139 a year) reduces the exam cost and gives free access to the Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and compliance functions across Tunisia. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

The PMI-RMP exam is closed book with 115 multiple-choice questions, completed in 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre, and is based on the current PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

The exam covers five domains: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%), per the ECO effective January 2022.

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What if I do not pass the PMI-RMP exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our mock exams and practice questions are designed to build readiness so you can go in confident; reexamination fees apply to later attempts and are set by PMI.

How do I schedule the PMI-RMP exam in Tunisia?

Once your PMI application is approved, schedule the exam through Pearson VUE, either via OnVUE online proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. You have a one-year eligibility window to sit and pass the exam.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

You will learn to set risk strategy, identify threats and opportunities, run qualitative and quantitative analysis, plan and implement responses, and monitor and close risks. The programme maps directly to the five ECO domains and covers predictive, agile and hybrid environments.

Which tools and techniques are covered?

The training covers risk identification techniques such as SWOT, Delphi and assumption analysis, a probability and impact matrix for qualitative analysis, and quantitative tools including Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees, sensitivity analysis and expected monetary value.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 115-question, closed-book format, plus topic-wise checks to help you find and close gaps before exam day.

Does this training meet the PMI education requirement?

The 32 contact hours fully meet the 30-hour risk education requirement for Set B (bachelor's degree) and Set C (GAC-accredited degree) applicants. Set A applicants (secondary diploma) need 40 hours and should add at least 8 more hours of risk education.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PMI-RMP outline?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline, effective January 2022, and the PMI Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to pick a start date that fits.

What training formats are available in Tunisia?

We offer live virtual instructor-led training, onsite classroom training, and customised corporate group training, so learners across Tunis, Sfax, Sousse and beyond can choose the format that fits their schedule.

Do I need prior experience to enrol in the training?

Anyone can enrol in the training to build risk skills and earn the contact hours. To sit the PMI-RMP exam itself, PMI requires the risk management experience and education set out in its eligibility criteria, which our advisors can help you map.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

How long is the PMI-RMP valid and how do I renew it?

The PMI-RMP is valid for three years. You renew it by earning 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements system, then paying the renewal fee set by PMI.
