What Is the PgMP Certification and What Does It Prove?UntitledA Senior Credential for Programme Leaders

The Program Management Professional (PgMP) is the Project Management Institute's senior credential for professionals who coordinate multiple related projects as one programme to deliver strategic benefits that individual projects cannot achieve alone. Invensis Learning's PgMP certification training in Tunisia prepares experienced practitioners to lead at programme level, align delivery to organisational strategy, and pass both the PgMP exam and the subject-matter-expert panel review. The programme is built around PMI's PgMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) and The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition, and covers all five performance domains: strategic programme management, programme life cycle management, benefits management, stakeholder engagement and governance. You learn to plan and control benefits realisation, govern component projects, engage senior stakeholders and steer complex programmes across sectors such as IT services, banking, telecoms and public transformation. Held by fewer than 3,000 practitioners worldwide, the PgMP is one of PMI's most exclusive credentials and a powerful differentiator for senior delivery leaders in Tunisia. Delivered in flexible live virtual and classroom formats, the training gives you application guidance, practice questions and panel-review preparation to move from experienced manager to certified programme leader.

What Is Fuelling Demand for Programme Leaders in Tunisia

Offshoring Moving up the Value Chain

Smart Tunisia is pushing providers beyond call centres into AI, fintech and complex delivery, creating demand for leaders who can govern multi-project programmes, not just single projects.

PgMP builds strategic and governance skills

    National Transformation Backlog

Tunisia is running 138 or more digital transformation projects into 2026 across administration, economy and infrastructure, demanding programme-grade prioritisation and cross-project coordination.

    PgMP builds programme coordination skills

    Fintech and Banking Modernisation

Rapid growth in digital payments and e-wallets is driving core-banking and fintech programmes where boards expect measurable benefits, the exact discipline the PgMP is built around.

    PgMP builds benefits-realisation skills

    Programme Governance Gap

Many Tunisian enterprises run dozens of concurrent projects without a strategy-aligned programme governance layer, leaving value leakage that certified programme leaders are hired to fix.

    PgMP closes the governance gap

    Your Tunisia Career Transformation

Your Programme Career Before and After PgMP

    The Shift a Credential Makes

Tunisia's programme and project market is expanding with Smart Tunisia offshoring, fintech growth and a national wave of digital transformation, and employers increasingly separate certified programme leaders from the rest. Here is which side of that line you want to be on.

    Today

Salary capped with limited leverage to negotiate in the Tunisian market

    After PgMP

Head of PMO and programme director bands in Tunisia reach around TND 145,000 and above

    Today

Shortlisted less often for programme roles that list PgMP as preferred

    After PgMP

Eligible for senior programme roles across IT, banking, telecoms and the public sector

    Today

Confident in delivery, but employers want programme-level governance

    After PgMP

Fluent in linking programmes to strategy and governing benefits at scale

    You earn your PgMP

    Before

Programme authority depends on tenure, not a recognised credential

    Now you have

A PMI programme credential recognised by leading Tunisian and global employers

    Before

Stuck at project level with no formal programme mandate

    Now you have

A clear route into transformation director and PMO head roles

    Before

Delivery focused, with limited line of sight to strategy

    Now you have

The governance skills employers need: benefits, stakeholders and programme risk

    Before

Recognition fades when you change sector or employer

    Now you have

A globally recognised credential that travels across sectors and borders

"The gap between delivering projects and leading a programme is increasingly a recognised credential, and the employers that matter already know it."

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Program Management Professional (PgMP) is PMI's senior credential for professionals who manage multiple related projects as one coordinated programme to deliver strategic organisational benefits. It suits senior programme managers, PMO heads, directors of delivery and transformation leaders with substantial programme experience.

    General

What is the PgMP certification and who is it for?

The Program Management Professional (PgMP) is PMI's senior credential for professionals who manage multiple related projects as one coordinated programme to deliver strategic organisational benefits. It suits senior programme managers, PMO heads, directors of delivery and transformation leaders with substantial programme experience.

Is the PgMP certification recognised in Tunisia?

Yes. The PgMP is a globally recognised PMI credential valued by employers across Tunisia and worldwide, including IT services and offshoring providers, banks and fintechs, telecom operators and consulting firms that run large, strategy-critical programmes.

What is the difference between PMP and PgMP?

The PMP validates managing individual projects, while the PgMP validates managing multiple related projects as a programme to deliver strategic benefits. The PgMP is a more senior credential with more rigorous prerequisites and an additional subject-matter-expert panel review.

How long is the PgMP valid and how do I renew it?

The PgMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across PMI's Talent Triangle, with at least 8 PDUs in each area, within the three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle.

Why choose Invensis Learning for PgMP training in Tunisia?

Invensis Learning is a PMI Authorized Training Partner offering PMI-aligned courseware, accredited trainers, flexible delivery, and dedicated support for the PgMP application and panel review, helping you move from experienced manager to certified programme leader. Talk to a learning advisor to begin.

    Pricing

How much does PgMP training cost in Tunisia?

PgMP training fees in Tunisia vary by format and cohort, so pricing is shared on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD under regional pricing and is not part of the training fee. Request a quote for current schedules and pricing.

What is included in the PgMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable templates, application and panel-review support, learner support, and a course completion certificate with contact hours.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PgMP exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing. For reference, PMI lists around USD 800 for members and USD 1,000 for non-members; confirm current fees on pmi.org before you apply. PMI membership can reduce the exam cost.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts for PgMP training?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, business units and leadership teams in Tunisia. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

What payment methods and instalment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

The PgMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour (240-minute) allotted time. It is closed book with multiple-choice question formats, delivered online with Pearson VUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

The exam covers five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%), per the PgMP Examination Content Outline.

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It is a mandatory step in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, with domain-level feedback reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

How many attempts do I get if I do not pass?

PMI allows up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from application approval. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts; confirm the current amounts on pmi.org before rebooking.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PgMP training?

The training covers the five PgMP performance domains: strategic programme management, programme life cycle management, benefits management, stakeholder engagement and governance, plus application guidance and exam strategy for the 170-question paper.

Which standard and edition is the PgMP training based on?

The courseware is aligned to PMI's PgMP Examination Content Outline and The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition, which forms the primary reference framework for the exam.

Are practice questions and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes mapped to the PgMP Examination Content Outline to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the 24 contact hours earned through the programme, useful for your PMI application and professional record.

Do I need prior experience to attend the training?

You can attend the training at any stage, but the PgMP itself is a senior credential. To sit the exam, PMI requires several years of project and programme management experience within the last 15 years; the training helps you prepare and document it.

    Enrollment

What are the eligibility requirements to sit the PgMP?

PMI offers three eligibility sets. With a secondary diploma you need 48 months of project experience (or an active PMP) plus 84 months of programme experience; with a four-year degree you need 48 months plus 48 months, all within the last 15 years, followed by the panel review.

Do I need a PMP before the PgMP?

No. The PMP is not mandatory. However, an active PMP satisfies the project management experience requirement across all three eligibility sets, so PMP holders only need to document their programme management experience.

What training formats are available in Tunisia?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions, and customised corporate group training, so senior professionals across Tunisia can choose the format that fits their schedule.

How do I enrol in the PgMP course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website or by speaking with a learning advisor. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches to get started.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrollment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this before your cohort begins.
