    • Onboard new joiners to your Jira setup faster
    • Improve delivery visibility with consistent boards and dashboards
    • Reduce manual effort through workflows and automation

Fees vary by level, delivery format and group size, so pricing is available on request. Share your preferred level and format and a learning advisor will send a tailored quote.

What is included in the course fee?

Your fee covers instructor-led training, structured courseware, hands-on exercises, practice activities and templates, learner support, and a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Request a quote to see what your chosen format includes.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer group and corporate rates for teams, with customised schedules and content built around your own Jira projects. Contact us for group pricing for your organisation.

Do I need my own Jira access for the course?

You should have access to a Jira environment for hands-on practice. Jira Cloud offers a free tier for up to 10 users, which is ideal for learning. Ask us whether a shared training environment is provided for your session.

Are payment or instalment options available?

Yes. We accept major cards and bank transfers and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose what suits you.

    Certificate & Assessment

Is there a formal assessment for the Jira course?

No. This is a practical skills course, so there is no formal assessment. You learn by doing, through live Jira exercises and realistic Agile scenarios throughout each level.

    Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning once you finish the programme. It recognises the practical Jira skills you have built.

Is this an official Atlassian qualification?

No. This is independent, practitioner-led skills training in the Jira tool, delivered by Invensis Learning. Jira itself is a product of Atlassian; the training builds hands-on capability rather than an Atlassian credential.

How will I know I have learned the skills?

Each module is reinforced with hands-on exercises, so you apply every feature as you learn it, from building boards to writing JQL and automation rules. You leave able to use Jira on real work immediately.

Do the skills expire or need renewing?

No. The Jira skills you build are immediately usable and do not expire. As Atlassian updates Jira Cloud, the core concepts you learn, boards, workflows, JQL and reporting, continue to apply.

    Course Content

What topics does the Fundamentals level cover?

Fundamentals covers the Jira interface, creating Scrum, Kanban and business projects, the epic-story-task-bug-subtask hierarchy, issue management, sprint and Scrum board management, Kanban boards and WIP limits, roadmaps, versions, filters, basic JQL and Agile reports.

What does the Advanced level cover?

Advanced covers custom workflows with conditions, validators and post-functions, permission, notification and screen schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira automation, integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket and GitHub, and Jira administration.

Will I learn JQL and reporting?

Yes. You learn to build saved filters and write Jira Query Language (JQL) to find issues precisely, then create dashboards, gadgets and Agile reports such as velocity, burndown and cumulative flow to track delivery.

    Is the training hands-on?

Very. Both levels are delivered with live Jira exercises using realistic software delivery scenarios, so you configure projects, boards, workflows and reports yourself rather than only watching demonstrations.

Does the course cover Scrum and Kanban?

Yes. You learn to run Scrum with backlogs, sprints, the Scrum board and velocity, and to manage continuous flow with Kanban boards, WIP limits and the cumulative flow diagram, the two most common Agile approaches in Jira.
