    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam is a closed-book, computer-based exam based on the PMP Examination Content Outline and referencing the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions, taken via Pearson VUE online or at a test centre.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes, which is 3 hours and 50 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. The questions are scenario based and span the exam's performance domains.

What are the PMP exam domains?

The exam, aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, covers five domains: Project Management Fundamentals (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. Your result is set through psychometric analysis and reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement for each domain, so aim for broad mastery across all areas.

How many attempts do I get and can I retake it?

You may take up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Confirm current fees on the PMI website before you rebook.

Where can I take the PMP exam in Thailand?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre in Thailand. You schedule it through PMI's portal or Pearson VUE once your application is approved.

    Course Content

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers the full PMP syllabus aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition: project management fundamentals, predictive and agile delivery, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and the tools for risk, schedule, budget and quality across the project life cycle.

Do I need prior experience to take the training?

You can join the training at any experience level, and beginners are welcome. To sit the PMP exam, PMI requires project leadership experience and 35 contact hours of PM education, which this programme provides, so you can train first and apply when ready.

    What learning resources are included?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PMP Examination Content Outline, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, downloadable templates and chapter-wise quizzes to build exam readiness.

Are there practice tests and mock exams?

Yes. The programme includes a large bank of practice questions, full-length mock exams and an exam simulator that mirrors the 180-question, 230-minute format, helping you identify weak areas before exam day.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PMP exam?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, PMI's current reference standard, covering predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.
