Market Forces Fuelling Change Management Demand in El Salvador

    Digital Banking Transformation

Salvadoran banks are digitising fast, with private deposits up 17.4% and instant payments dominant. Rolling out new systems demands structured people-side change, not just technology.

Learn to lead adoption through change

    BPO and Contact Centre Scaling

The BPO sector employs 30,000-plus and keeps adding thousands of jobs a year. Rapid growth means constant restructuring, culture change and onboarding that certified change professionals help manage.

Build change practice and communication skills

    Fintech and Payments Shift

With instant payments handling most transactions, financial firms are redesigning processes and roles. Workforces need support to adapt, making change and stakeholder skills highly valued.

    Master stakeholder engagement models

    Change Skills Shortage

El Salvador has deep operational and project talent but few formally certified change practitioners. A recognised credential makes holders scarce and sought-after by employers.

Stand out as a certified practitioner

    Nearshore Growth Pressure

As multinationals expand nearshore operations, they standardise processes across sites. Structured change management keeps adoption consistent while teams scale quickly.

    Resistance and Adoption Risk

Many transformation programmes stall because the people side is neglected. Certified change professionals plan communication, training and reinforcement so change actually sticks.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a two-level qualification covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your understanding of change management concepts, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real change scenarios. The combined programme prepares you for both.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level qualification covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your understanding of change management concepts, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real change scenarios. The combined programme prepares you for both.

Is the Change Management certification worth it for my career?

Yes. As banks, BPO firms and fintechs in El Salvador accelerate digital transformation, employers value people who can drive adoption and reduce resistance. The credential opens change manager and HR business partner roles, where salaries commonly range from around $24,000 to over $50,000 a year.

    Who should take this course?

It suits HR practitioners, project and programme managers, consultants, organisational development professionals and leaders who sponsor or support change. No prior change management knowledge is needed to begin at Foundation level.

Is the certification recognised in El Salvador and internationally?

Yes. The Change Management qualification is recognised internationally in over 150 countries and is valued across banking, BPO, telecoms and consulting employers in El Salvador that run large transformation programmes.

Do I need any prerequisites to start?

There are no prerequisites for Change Management Foundation; it is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you must first hold the Foundation certification, which the combined programme prepares you for.

    Pricing

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training aligned to the official syllabi, courseware, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions, exam preparation guidance and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies, so confirm current details when you enrol. Request a quote for a full breakdown.

How much does the training cost in El Salvador?

Pricing depends on the delivery format you choose and any exam vouchers included. As El Salvador uses the US dollar, fees are quoted in USD. Contact us for current pricing, and ask about group rates if you are training a team.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam fee inclusion varies by package and region, so confirm at the time of enrolment. The programme leads to two separate exams, Foundation and Practitioner, and we can advise which package covers the vouchers you need.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for HR, PMO and leadership teams. Ask about a tailored quote for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

Two separate exams. The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, with a 50% pass mark (25 out of 50). The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks total, over 2.5 hours, open book, with a 50% pass mark (40 out of 80).

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 single-answer multiple-choice questions to complete in 40 minutes. You need 50%, or 25 correct answers out of 50, to pass. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation training.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book and scenario based. It has 5 sections, each worth 16 marks for 80 marks in total, and you have 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the guide and solid method knowledge are both essential.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can resit the exam you did not pass. Our trainers provide preparation guidance, mock exams and scenario practice to help you succeed, and selected plans include retake support. Ask our team about the resit options available to you.

    Course Content

What topics does the training cover?

The syllabus spans five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation covers them at knowledge level and Practitioner at application level.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Change Management Foundation has no prerequisites and is designed for people new to structured change management. The training builds from core concepts to applied practice, so beginners and experienced professionals can both follow it.

Which change management models will I learn?

You cover a broad range of models including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's three-step model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence domains and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

Yes. The training is aligned to the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner syllabi and the latest Change Management Practitioner Guide, and is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute.

Are mock exams and practice materials included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and mock exams for both levels, plus industry case studies for realistic scenario practice, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol and how soon can I start?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website or by speaking with a learning advisor. Choose your format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules and courseware. See upcoming batches to find a start date that suits you.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online live virtual instructor-led training, classroom training, and customised corporate group training. This lets you learn in the format that best fits your schedule and location in El Salvador.

How long is the training programme?

The combined Change Management Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 40 hours of training. The number of days depends on the daily schedule, from intensive full-day sessions to extended part-day formats.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or move to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training again. Contact our support team to arrange this.
