What if I do not pass an AgilePM exam the first time?

You can resit the exam, and our training includes mock exams and exam technique to help you pass. Selected plans include retake support, so ask about the Flexi option when you enrol.

What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a 40-minute duration. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each, 60 marks in total, over 2 hours. It is open book with the AgilePM Handbook permitted, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 30 out of 60 marks.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You sit the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam, and you must pass both to hold both credentials.

How are the AgilePM exams delivered?

Both exams are available through online proctoring or at an authorised test centre, and are typically taken at the end of each stage of training.

What are the prerequisites for the exams?

Foundation has no formal prerequisites. Practitioner requires AgilePM Foundation certification or an accepted equivalent, so the combined course prepares you for both in sequence.

Can a beginner take this AgilePM course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and starts from the basics of the framework, so beginners and experienced professionals can both follow it. The training then builds to the applied Practitioner level with guided practice.
