Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification for managing the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change management concepts and models; Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios. Both are covered in this combined programme.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification for managing the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change management concepts and models; Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios. Both are covered in this combined programme.

Who should take this change management course in Saudi Arabia?

It suits project and programme managers, HR and OD professionals, consultants and leaders driving change. With Vision 2030 transformation across government, giga-projects, banking and energy, it is ideal for anyone in Saudi Arabia responsible for helping people adopt new ways of working.

Is the change management certification worth it in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Change Manager roles in Saudi Arabia average around SAR 251,000 per year, and certified change practitioners remain scarce against strong Vision 2030 demand. The credential helps you stand out for change and transformation roles across sectors. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

What are the prerequisites for the certification?

Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam, you must first hold the Change Management Foundation certification or an accepted equivalent. This combined programme prepares you for both levels in sequence.

    Is the qualification recognised internationally?

Yes. The Change Management qualification is recognised in over 150 countries and is respected wherever change management is a professional discipline. It is aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) from the Change Management Institute and is valued by employers across Saudi Arabia and globally.

    Pricing

How much does the change management course cost in Saudi Arabia?

Fees vary by delivery format and schedule, so pricing is available on request in SAR. The fee covers training and preparation resources; the two exam fees are confirmed separately. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share current pricing and any offers.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across both levels, courseware aligned to the CMBoK and current syllabi, practice questions, mock exams for Foundation and Practitioner, learner support and a course completion certificate. Confirm inclusions for your chosen format when you enquire.

Are the two exam fees included in the price?

The combined programme leads to two separate exams, and exam voucher inclusion can vary by package. Ask your learning advisor whether the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers are bundled with your chosen option, so there are no surprises.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, HR functions and transformation teams across Saudi Arabia. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You must sit and pass both the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. The programme prepares you for each in turn, with Foundation covered first and Practitioner second.

What is the Foundation exam format?

The Change Management Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 40 minutes. It is closed book with single-answer questions, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct.

What is the Practitioner exam format?

The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. It is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential, and the training builds this technique.

What happens if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the exam you did not pass. Our trainers provide guidance to help you clear both Foundation and Practitioner on the first attempt, and we support your revision if a re-sit is needed. Confirm current re-sit fees when you enquire.

    Course Content

What topics does the training cover?

The training covers all five change management topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organization, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation builds knowledge; Practitioner applies it to real scenarios.

What change management models will I learn?

You will learn a broad model toolkit including ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S, Bridges' Transition Model, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence, and how to apply them.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and starts from first principles, so beginners are welcome. The programme then builds to Practitioner-level application, so you finish able to apply change management approaches to real organisational scenarios with confidence.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive courseware aligned to the CMBoK and the current exam syllabi, industry-driven case studies, practice questions, and mock exams for both Foundation and Practitioner. These resources help you build understanding and prepare efficiently for both exams.

Is the courseware aligned with the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the official Change Management Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi, the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK), and the current edition of the Change Management Practitioner Guide.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to get started.

What training formats are available in Saudi Arabia?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training, and customised corporate group training across Saudi Arabia. Choose the format that fits your schedule, whether you prefer weekday or weekend sessions.

    How long is the training?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 40 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days depends on the schedule format, from an intensive full-day option to extended part-day sessions. Ask about upcoming batches that suit you.

Can I reschedule or transfer my batch?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include a retake option. Contact support to arrange a change that works for you.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
