    Is the CAPM worth it for starting a project career in Romania?

    Yes. Romania's IT services, nearshoring and banking sectors are hiring entry-level project talent, and a PMI credential helps beginners stand out. Roles such as project coordinator and junior project manager are in demand, and the CAPM is a recognised way to prove your project fundamentals.

    Do I need work experience to take the CAPM?

    No. The CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no project management work experience. You need a secondary degree (high school diploma or global equivalent) and 23 hours of project management education, which this training provides in full.

    Is the CAPM recognised in Romania and internationally?

    Yes. As a PMI credential, the CAPM is recognised through PMI's network in over 200 countries. Employers across Romania and worldwide accept it as a credible signal of foundational project management knowledge and commitment to the profession.

    How long is the CAPM valid and how is it renewed?

    The CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike the PMP, it is renewed by retaking and passing the CAPM exam within the certification cycle, not by earning PDUs. There is no PDU requirement for CAPM renewal.

    How much does CAPM training cost in Romania?

    Training fees are quoted locally and are available on request, as pricing varies by format and schedule. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI and is not part of the training price. Request a quote for current pricing and upcoming batches.

    How much is the CAPM exam fee?

    For reference only, PMI lists the CAPM exam at around USD 225 for members and USD 300 for non-members; actual fees vary by region, so confirm current pricing at pmi.org. PMI membership can reduce the exam fee and gives access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 Examination Content Outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and lasts three hours (180 minutes). It is closed book and includes single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

    Where can I take the CAPM exam?

    You can take the CAPM exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or the office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website.

    How many attempts do I get and what standard is the exam based on?

    You are allowed up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period after your application is approved. The exam is based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the Agile Practice Guide.

    You will learn project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based delivery, agile frameworks and business analysis, mapped to the four CAPM exam domains. The training covers predictive, agile and hybrid ways of working so you can support projects in any delivery environment.

    Yes. The programme provides 24 hours of instructor-led project management education, which exceeds the 23-hour requirement and fully satisfies the CAPM education eligibility prerequisite.

    Can a complete beginner take this course?

    Yes. The CAPM and this training are designed for beginners with little or no project experience. Trainers build concepts from the ground up, so you do not need a technical or project background to follow along.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams modelled on the 150-question, three-hour CAPM format, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest CAPM syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, covering predictive, agile and hybrid delivery approaches.
