What Is Driving Agile Hiring in Portugal

    Fast-Scaling Nearshore Teams

Global firms are scaling delivery centres in Lisbon, Porto and Braga faster than they can onboard agile-literate staff, creating steady demand for certified team members who understand Scrum.

EXIN ASF builds job-ready Scrum awareness

    Agile Adoption Outpacing Skills

Many Portuguese employers are moving to Scrum, but new joiners often lack a shared understanding of roles, events and artifacts, which slows delivery until the team gets aligned.

EXIN ASF aligns teams to the Scrum Guide

    The Beginner Talent Gap

Companies want entry-level professionals who already grasp the agile way of working, yet many certifications assume experience that the newest hires simply do not have.

EXIN ASF needs no prior experience

    Distributed Delivery Complexity

Nearshore teams collaborate across time zones with clients in the EU and US, and inconsistent Scrum practice makes sprint planning and progress tracking harder than it should be.

EXIN ASF builds planning and tracking skills

Pressure to Show Value Each Sprint

Product and platform teams must demonstrate value every sprint, so employers value people who can estimate work, read burndown charts and track velocity with confidence.

EXIN ASF covers monitoring and estimation

    Moving from Waterfall to Agile

Traditional project staff are shifting into agile roles and need a grounded, vendor-neutral credential to prove they understand Scrum before they take part in live sprints.

EXIN ASF is a vendor-neutral foundation

The exam is closed book with single-answer, multiple-choice questions. It is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification and is delivered online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited test location.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

Do I need prior experience to follow the course?
