What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 40 minutes. It is closed book, with a pass mark of 50% (25 out of 50 correct), and has no formal prerequisites.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each (60 marks total), completed in 2 hours. It is open book, with the AgilePM Handbook permitted, and the pass mark is 50% (30 out of 60 marks).

How many exams are in the combined programme?

Two separate exams. You sit and pass the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam. You must pass both to hold both credentials.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The AgilePM Handbook is allowed during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario-based questions require analysis and judgement, so efficient handbook navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential; you cannot simply look up answers.

Do I need Foundation before Practitioner?

Yes. AgilePM Foundation, or an accepted equivalent, is required before you sit the Practitioner exam. The combined programme prepares you for both levels in sequence.

How are the AgilePM exams delivered?

Both exams are delivered through online proctoring or at an authorised test centre, and are usually taken at the end of each stage of the training. Confirm current delivery options when you enrol.
