What Is Kanban Training and Who Is It For?UntitledA Practical Route to Pull and Flow

Kanban Training in Poland is a practical, non-certification skills programme that teaches you how to visualise work, limit work in progress and manage flow using the Kanban system. Kanban is a visual, pull-based method that authorises work only when real downstream demand exists, which removes overproduction and overload. Rooted in the Toyota Production System and later adapted for knowledge work by David J. Anderson, Kanban now works in two worlds: manufacturing pull production with kanban cards and supermarkets, and knowledge work with Kanban boards, WIP limits and flow metrics. This one-day course covers both, so production, supply chain, IT, software and service professionals can apply it directly to their own workflows. Whether you lead an Agile delivery team in Warsaw, run a plant near Poznan or manage a shared-service function in Krakow, you will leave able to design boards, calculate kanban quantities, read a Cumulative Flow Diagram and shorten lead times. Build the workflow skills Polish employers value with Invensis Learning.

Market Pressures Making Flow Skills Essential in Poland

    Delivery Predictability Gap

GCCs and software teams in Krakow, Warsaw and Wroclaw are judged on predictable delivery, yet overloaded backlogs and hidden WIP make lead times hard to forecast. Kanban closes that gap.

Kanban builds flow and forecasting skills

    Lean Pressure in Automotive Plants

Automotive and manufacturing employers face cost pressure and demand shifts, so continuous improvement and Lean roles are in demand. Kanban pull systems cut inventory and overproduction directly.

    Kanban builds pull production skills

    Overload in Knowledge Work

Developers, analysts and support teams are routinely given more work than they can finish at once. Multitasking waste is the knowledge-work equivalent of overproduction, and WIP limits solve it.

    Kanban builds WIP limit discipline

    Nearshoring and Scaling Delivery

As Poland grows as a nearshore delivery hub, teams must scale output without losing control. Visual boards and flow metrics keep large, distributed workflows transparent and manageable.

    Kanban supports scalable delivery

    Supply Chain and Inventory Discipline

Logistics and supply chain operators need tighter inventory control between suppliers and lines. Kanban replenishment and supermarket sizing align stock to real demand, not forecasts.

    Kanban builds replenishment skills

    Scarcity of Flow Specialists

Poland has a deep pool of project talent but far fewer people who can design pull systems and manage flow with data. Kanban capability makes you visibly more valuable to employers.

The Skills You Will Walk Away WithFrom Pull Systems to Flow Metrics

This programme turns Kanban theory into capability you can use straight away. Through hands-on exercises on realistic manufacturing and knowledge-work scenarios, you learn to visualise work, limit WIP, size pull systems and read flow metrics with confidence.

    Design and Run Kanban Boards

Build boards that map your real workflow, using columns, swimlanes, classes of service and a clear Definition of Done, so the whole team can see and pull work in a single view.

    Set and Manage WIP Limits

Apply work in progress limits that expose bottlenecks and enforce stop starting, start finishing, then tune those limits from real flow data rather than guesswork.

    Build Manufacturing Pull Systems

Design production and withdrawal kanban, size supermarkets, and calculate kanban quantities and card counts so pull production replaces push scheduling and cuts overproduction.

    Measure Flow with Real Metrics

Track lead time, cycle time and throughput, apply Little's Law, and use throughput to forecast delivery honestly instead of relying on estimates alone.

    Read the Cumulative Flow Diagram

Construct and interpret a CFD to spot growing WIP, bottlenecks and process changes, then target improvements where the data shows the biggest delay.

    Apply Scrumban and Sustain Kanban

Combine Kanban with Scrum as Scrumban, run Kanban cadences, and keep WIP discipline over time so flow keeps improving instead of quietly slipping back.

Is Kanban training a good return on investment?

It can be. Kanban improves delivery predictability and cuts lead times and overproduction with a low-risk, evolutionary approach. In Poland, roles such as Scrum Master and Delivery Manager attract strong pay, and flow skills strengthen your profile. Request a quote to plan your training.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the Kanban course?

You will learn to design Kanban boards, set and manage WIP limits, build manufacturing pull systems with supermarkets and kanban sizing, measure lead time, cycle time and throughput, read a Cumulative Flow Diagram, and apply Scrumban to sustain flow over time.
