Is the ASM certification worth it in Poland?

Who should take this Scrum Master certification?

It suits practising and aspiring Scrum Masters, project managers moving into agile delivery, team and technical leads, and agile coaches. EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge is recommended as a starting point but is not strictly required.

Which body governs the ASM credential?

EXIN, the global examination institute, governs the Agile Scrum Master certification. All exam content, topic areas and policies come from EXIN, and the credential is aligned to the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto.

How long is the ASM certification valid?

The EXIN Agile Scrum Master certification is valid for life. There is no expiry, renewal fee or continuing-education requirement once you pass the exam.

What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

The Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions, based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master Examination Specification. It is delivered online with proctoring or at an accredited test location.

How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 90 minutes. It is closed book and can be taken via EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited testing location.

What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

You need 65 percent to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions correct. Preparing across all five EXIN topic areas is the best way to clear it comfortably.

Do I need EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation before the exam?

EXIN recommends Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge as the intended entry point, but it is not strictly enforced as a prerequisite in most cases. Our training builds the underlying Scrum knowledge you need either way.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

You can re-sit the EXIN exam; re-examination terms and fees apply, so confirm current details with your advisor. Our practice questions, mock assessments and trainer guidance are designed to help you pass first time.

What topics does the ASM training cover?

Training covers the five EXIN topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Master Role (25%), Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control (27.5%), Complex Projects (12.5%) and Adopting Agile (15%), plus the full Scrum framework and exam strategy.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. While EXIN recommends Foundation-level Scrum knowledge, the programme builds the framework basics before moving to Scrum Master skills, so motivated beginners and career changers can follow it with trainer support.

What learning resources are provided?

You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock assessments, and reference material covering the Scrum framework, events, artifacts and the Definition of Done, along with post-training support.

Are there practical exercises and mock exams?

Yes. The programme includes facilitation exercises, scenario discussions, topic quizzes and full mock exams aligned to the 40-question EXIN format, so you practise both the skills and the exam.

How long is the training and how is it delivered?

The Agile Scrum Master programme runs for 16 hours, typically over two days, delivered online (live virtual) by accredited trainers or as customised corporate training for teams.
