    What is the format of the Black Belt exam?

    The exam is a closed-book test of 150 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 4 hours, with each question worth 1 mark. A reference document with the required formulas and tables is provided during the exam. Some forms include up to 15 additional unscored questions.

    What is the passing score for the Black Belt exam?

    You need a minimum score of 580 points out of 750 points to pass. The exam covers the five DMAIC phases: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control, so aim for broad mastery across all of them.
