    Assessment

    Is there an exam for this course?

    No. This is a non-certification training course with no examination and no accrediting body. Learning is reinforced through lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises rather than a formal test.

    What will I receive on completing the training?

    You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning that recognises your learning achievement. The skills you gain are immediately applicable at work and do not expire or require renewal.

    How is my learning assessed?

    There is no formal assessment or pass mark. Understanding is built and checked through interactive discussions, practical exercises, knowledge checks and retrospective sessions throughout the two-day programme.

    Does this prepare me for CAPM, PMP or PRINCE2?

    Yes. While this course does not lead to those qualifications, it builds a strong foundation of project management knowledge that helps you go on to pursue further certifications such as CAPM, PMP or PRINCE2.

    Does the course completion certificate expire?

    No. The Course Completion Certificate does not expire and needs no renewal, because the fundamentals you learn remain applicable throughout your career. There are no continuing requirements to maintain.

    Course Content

    What topics does the training cover?

    The course covers five modules: project management concepts, project influences, the role of the project manager, the full project management cycle from initiation to closure, and an Agile projects overview including Scrum basics.

    How long is the Project Management Fundamentals course?

    The course runs over two days, totalling 16 hours. It is delivered through lectures, interactive discussions and hands-on exercises across the five-module syllabus, with a half-day format also available over four sessions.

    Can a complete beginner follow the course?

    Yes. The course is designed from first principles, so beginners can follow it comfortably. Hands-on exercises and real workplace examples help you apply each concept as you learn it.

    Does the course cover Agile as well as predictive methods?

    Yes. Alongside predictive, plan-based methods, the course includes an Agile projects overview covering Agile release planning and the Scrum process, so you understand how both approaches work together.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive courseware created by subject-matter experts, along with practical exercises, knowledge checks and reference resources that support the five-module syllabus and help you apply the fundamentals at work.
