    Is there an exam for Minitab Essentials Training?

    No. This is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Minitab exercises throughout the day rather than a formal test.

    What do I receive on completion?

    You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. No external credential is awarded, as this is a practical skills course. The Minitab skills you build are immediately usable and do not expire.

    How is my learning assessed during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you practise each technique live in Minitab as the trainer demonstrates it, using realistic quality datasets, so you build proficiency by doing rather than through testing.

    Will this make me a certified Six Sigma professional?

    No. This course builds Minitab software skills and is not a Six Sigma qualification. However, it is ideal preparation for Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt training, where Minitab is the standard analysis tool.

    Do the skills expire or need renewal?

    Course Content

    What topics does the course cover?

    The course covers six modules: Minitab interface and data management, descriptive statistics and graphs, hypothesis testing, statistical process control, process capability analysis, and regression with Gauge R&R measurement system analysis.

    What will I be able to do afterwards?

    You will be able to import and manage data, build quality graphs, run t-tests, ANOVA and chi-square tests, create I-MR, Xbar-R, P and C control charts, run capability analysis, and perform regression and Gauge R&R studies in Minitab.

    How long is the training and how is it structured?

    The programme runs for one day, eight hours in total, and can also be delivered as two half-days. All six modules are taught with live instructor demonstration and hands-on Minitab exercises on realistic datasets.

    Are the sessions hands-on?

    Yes. Every module includes live Minitab exercises. You follow along in the software as the trainer works through each analysis, so you build real proficiency rather than watching passively.

    Which Minitab features are covered?

    You cover the interface and data tools, descriptive statistics, histograms, boxplots, Pareto and time series charts, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square, control charts, Cp and Cpk capability indices, regression and Gauge R&R.
