    You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. More importantly, you leave with a complete, practical Lean toolkit you can apply immediately on the shop floor.

    How is my learning reinforced during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply Lean tools to realistic production scenarios through waste walks, value stream mapping, 5S assessment, OEE calculation and pull system exercises, with trainer feedback throughout.

    Will I be able to apply Lean straight away?

    Yes. By the end of the day you can run a waste walk, map a value stream, set up 5S, size a simple kanban system, calculate OEE and lead a Kaizen improvement in your own workplace.

    Do the skills expire or need renewal?

    No. The Lean skills you gain do not expire and need no renewal. They apply throughout your career across manufacturing, operations and service environments.

    Course Content

    What topics does the Lean training cover?

    The course covers Lean foundations and the Toyota Production System, the eight wastes (DOWNTIME), value stream mapping, 5S and visual management, pull systems and kanban, just-in-time, TPM and OEE, standard work, SMED, Heijunka, Poka Yoke and building a Lean culture.

    How long is the Lean Manufacturing training?

    The programme runs for one day (eight hours), delivered as a full day or as two half-days. It covers all six Lean modules with concept explanations, case studies and hands-on exercises throughout.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

    Yes. You practise waste identification, value stream data collection, 5S assessment, OEE calculation, kanban sizing and standard work observation, so the tools are ready to use on your own lines.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive structured courseware, Lean tool templates, worked examples and job aids that support the training and help you apply each tool at work.

    Can the content be tailored to my industry?

    Yes. For group and onsite training we tailor examples and exercises to your sector, whether food and beverage, sugar, cement, tobacco, textiles or agro-processing, and to your own production data.
