What Is Six Sigma and Why Does It Matter at Work?UntitledA Plain-Language Introduction
The Six Sigma Awareness Training in Macedonia is a one-day introduction to Six Sigma, the data-driven methodology that reduces process variation and eliminates defects to reach fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities (DPMO). It is an awareness-level programme built around practical understanding, not formal testing, so you focus on learning the concepts and applying them at work. Developed at Motorola in the 1980s and made famous by GE, Six Sigma is now used across automotive, manufacturing, IT, banking and outsourcing organisations in Macedonia. This programme explains the DMAIC roadmap (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control), core ideas such as defects, variation, DPMO and Critical to Quality, and the Six Sigma roles from Champion to Yellow Belt. It suits employees, supervisors and managers who work alongside Green Belts and Black Belts and want a shared language to support improvement projects. Delivered live by experienced instructors, the course builds on-the-job understanding you can use straight away, and gives you a solid foundation if you later choose Yellow Belt or Green Belt training.
