    General

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Moldova?

Yes. The PMI-RMP proves specialist project risk expertise that Moldovan banks, IT services firms, energy utilities and infrastructure programmes increasingly need. Risk Manager roles in Chisinau average around MDL 671,000 a year, and certified specialists remain scarce, so the credential strengthens both earning power and mobility.

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management. It is designed for risk managers, senior project managers, PMO analysts and consultants who identify, assess, respond to and monitor project risk, and who want a globally recognised qualification.

Do I need a PMP before taking the PMI-RMP?

No. PMP certification is not a prerequisite for the PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many holders do carry both, as the two credentials complement each other well.

Which standard is the PMI-RMP based on?

The exam follows the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) effective January 2022, and draws on PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management and the PMBOK Guide. The 2022 ECO covers predictive, agile and hybrid risk approaches.

How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

The PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMI-RMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 32 contact hours, domain-weighted practice questions and mock exams, application guidance, and learner support with a completion certificate. The PMI exam fee is billed separately. Request a quote for current pricing in Moldova.

How much does the PMI-RMP exam cost?

PMI bills the exam fee in USD under regional pricing. For reference it is around USD 520 for PMI members and USD 670 for non-members; verify current figures at pmi.org. Membership can lower the exam and renewal costs.

How much does PMI-RMP training cost in Moldova?

Training fees vary by format, whether live virtual or classroom, and by group size. Pricing is available on request. Speak with a learning advisor for a quote tailored to your needs.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for banking, IT, energy and infrastructure teams. Ask about corporate or group pricing for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

The PMI-RMP exam has 115 questions to be completed in 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book with multiple-choice questions, delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and weights?

The 2022 ECO defines five domains: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, with domain feedback reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

You are allowed up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility window. Our mock exams and trainer support are designed to prepare you thoroughly, and re-examination fees apply to later attempts. Confirm current fees at pmi.org.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP?

There are three sets. Set A: secondary diploma with 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years and 40 hours of risk education. Set B: bachelor's degree with 24 months and 30 hours. Set C: a GAC-accredited degree with 12 months and 30 hours.

    Course Content

Can a beginner to risk management take this training?

The training builds capability step by step across all five domains, so professionals new to formal risk management can follow it. To sit the PMI exam, however, you must also meet PMI's experience requirements, which our advisors can help you assess.

What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

You learn risk strategy and planning, risk identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, response planning and implementation, and monitoring and closing risks, plus tools such as Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees and the probability and impact matrix.

Does the training meet the PMI education requirement?

Yes. The programme provides 32 contact hours, which fully satisfies the 30-hour risk management education requirement for Set B and Set C candidates. Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 further hours of study.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 115-question format and weighted across the five ECO domains, so you can identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned to the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and reflects PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management across predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

We offer live virtual instructor-led training and classroom sessions, plus customised corporate group training for teams in Chisinau and across Moldova, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule.

Will the training help with my PMI application?

Yes. Alongside the 32 contact hours, we provide guidance on documenting your risk management experience and education for the PMI application, helping you submit a complete and accurate record.
