Risk Roles in Demand Across MoroccoWhere PMI-RMP Takes Your Career

PMI-RMP is a strong differentiator in Morocco's project economy, valued by banks, insurers, construction and energy groups, and offshoring employers that run high-risk, high-value work. Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Yes. PMI-RMP is a globally recognised specialist credential that sets you apart in Morocco's banking, energy, construction and IT sectors, where structured risk management is increasingly required. Risk managers earn well above the national average, and certified specialists remain scarce, making the credential a strong career investment.

    General

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Morocco?

Yes. PMI-RMP is a globally recognised specialist credential that sets you apart in Morocco's banking, energy, construction and IT sectors, where structured risk management is increasingly required. Risk managers earn well above the national average, and certified specialists remain scarce, making the credential a strong career investment.

    What is the PMI-RMP certification?

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management. It recognises your expertise in identifying and assessing risks, mitigating threats and capitalising on opportunities across projects and programmes, and it sets you apart from general project management practitioners.

    Who should take PMI-RMP training?

It suits risk managers, senior project managers, PMO and risk analysts, risk consultants and professionals in high-risk sectors such as construction, energy, banking and IT. Anyone who wants to specialise in project risk and prove it with a globally recognised credential benefits from the training.

    Is PMP required before PMI-RMP?

No. PMP is not a prerequisite for PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many professionals do hold both, as they are complementary, but PMI-RMP can be earned on its own.

How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle, which is fewer than the 60 PDUs required for PMP renewal.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMI-RMP training fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, instruction across all five domains, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable templates and application guidance, plus learner support and a course completion certificate with contact hours. The PMI exam fee is billed separately. Request a quote for the current price in Morocco.

How much does the PMI-RMP training cost in Morocco?

Training pricing in Morocco varies by format, whether live online, classroom or corporate group training. Fees are available on request, so contact a learning advisor for a quote tailored to your chosen schedule and mode.

How much is the PMI-RMP exam fee?

PMI bills the exam fee in USD under regional pricing, around USD 520 for PMI members and USD 670 for non-members for reference only; confirm current fees at pmi.org. Membership, at roughly USD 139 a year, lowers the exam cost and includes the Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for risk functions, PMOs and delivery teams across Morocco. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

The PMI-RMP exam has 115 questions to be completed in 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book with multiple-choice questions, delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or at a test centre, and based on the Examination Content Outline effective January 2022.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and weights?

The exam covers five domains per the January 2022 ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What are the eligibility requirements for PMI-RMP?

There are three routes. With a secondary diploma: 36 months of risk experience in the last five years plus 40 hours of risk education. With a four-year degree: 24 months plus 30 hours. With a GAC-accredited degree: 12 months plus 30 hours. Experience must be specifically in project risk management.

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. Results are determined through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts. Our mock exams and domain-wise practice are designed to build your readiness before you sit, and support continues if you need a second attempt.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

You learn to plan risk strategy, identify threats and opportunities, run qualitative and quantitative analysis, plan and implement responses, and monitor and close risks. The programme also covers risk tools such as Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees and expected monetary value across predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.

Can a beginner or a general project manager take this course?

Yes. The training is structured to build risk capability step by step, so professionals moving from general delivery into a risk focus can follow it comfortably. To sit the exam you must meet PMI's risk experience and education requirements, and we guide you through documenting these.

Does the training satisfy the PMI-RMP education requirement?

The programme provides 32 contact hours of risk management education, which fully meets the 30-hour requirement for degree and GAC-accredited routes. Secondary-diploma candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 further hours of risk education.

Is the courseware aligned to the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is mapped to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, covering risk management across predictive, agile and hybrid environments.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes domain-wise practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 115-question format, helping you find weak areas and build exam confidence before you sit.
