Risk Challenges Fuelling Demand in Morocco

The Risk Skills You Will Build in This ProgrammeMapped to All Five Risk Domains

This PMI-RMP training builds end-to-end project risk capability mapped to the five ECO domains. By the end you can plan risk strategy, identify and analyse risk, design responses, and monitor risk to closure across predictive, agile and hybrid projects.

Set the Risk Strategy and Plan

Learn to establish the risk management approach, governance and thresholds for a project. You will analyse documents, assess the project environment with tools like SWOT and PESTLE, and build a risk management plan tailored to predictive, agile or hybrid delivery. This is Domain I of the ECO.

    Identify Threats and Opportunities

Facilitate structured risk identification using brainstorming, the Delphi technique, interviews and assumption analysis. You will document risks in a clear cause-risk-effect format, assess the risk register for completeness, and communicate findings to stakeholders, covering Domain II of the outline.

    Analyse Risk Qualitatively and Quantitatively

Apply the probability and impact matrix to prioritise risk, then use quantitative techniques such as Monte Carlo simulation, decision tree analysis, sensitivity analysis and expected monetary value. You will visualise results with tornado diagrams and heat maps to guide decisions, per Domain III.

    Plan and Implement Risk Responses

Design response strategies for threats (avoid, transfer, mitigate, accept) and opportunities (exploit, share, enhance, accept). You will assign owners, build contingency and fallback plans, integrate reserves into the plan, and track response effectiveness, the focus of Domain IV.

    Monitor and Close Risks

Track identified risks against triggers, monitor residual and secondary risks, and run periodic risk reviews as projects evolve. You will report on the risk profile, activate contingency plans, and formally close risks with lessons learned, completing Domain V of the ECO.

    Prepare for the PMI-RMP Exam

Build exam readiness for the 115-question, 2.5-hour closed-book PMI-RMP exam. You will practise scenario-based questions across all five domains, learn time management, and get guidance on documenting your risk experience for the PMI application.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The PMI-RMP is PMI's specialist certification in project risk management, recognising expertise in identifying risks, mitigating threats and capitalising on opportunities. It is designed for project managers, risk analysts, PMO professionals and consultants who specialise in managing risk on projects and programmes.

    General

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

The PMI-RMP is PMI's specialist certification in project risk management, recognising expertise in identifying risks, mitigating threats and capitalising on opportunities. It is designed for project managers, risk analysts, PMO professionals and consultants who specialise in managing risk on projects and programmes.

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Rabat?

Yes. Rabat's government programmes, banks, engineering firms and offshoring employers run large, uncertain projects that need structured risk skills. PMI-certified professionals report a 17% higher median salary than non-certified peers, and the credential positions you for senior risk roles across Morocco.

What are the prerequisites for the PMI-RMP?

There are three eligibility sets. Set A: a secondary diploma plus 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years and 40 hours of risk education. Set B: a bachelor's degree plus 24 months of experience and 30 hours of education. Set C: a GAC-accredited degree plus 12 months of experience and 30 hours of education.

Is the PMP required before taking the PMI-RMP?

No. The PMP is not a prerequisite for the PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many PMI-RMP holders also hold the PMP, as the two credentials are complementary.

How long is the PMI-RMP valid and how do I renew it?

The PMI-RMP is valid for 3 years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle and pay the renewal fee to PMI.

How much does PMI-RMP training cost in Rabat?

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.
