What You Gain from Building Jira SkillsSkills You Can Use from Day One

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

Jira skills give you practical control over how work is planned, tracked and delivered. Whether you are new to Jira or already using it, this training turns everyday tool use into genuine proficiency you can rely on at work. Whether you are a developer joining a Jira-based team, a Scrum Master running ceremonies, or a project lead reporting on delivery, the course builds the exact capabilities your role needs.

If you want to move from clicking around Jira to truly running delivery in it, this is a clear next step. You leave able to set up projects, manage sprints and boards, and generate the reports that keep teams and stakeholders aligned.

    • Work confidently in Jira to create, track and manage issues across Scrum and Kanban teams
    • Run full sprint cycles, from backlog refinement to sprint review, on the Jira board
    • Plan releases with roadmaps, versions and components that keep delivery on track
    • Write JQL filters and read Agile reports such as velocity, burndown and cumulative flow
    • Configure workflows, schemes and automation rules that match how your team really works
    • Become the go-to Jira person on your team, a capability valued across Morocco's tech employers
    • Apply your learning immediately in day-to-day Agile and DevOps delivery
    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Group Jira training helps organisations get consistent, effective use of the tool across software, IT and delivery teams. When teams share the same practices for boards, workflows and reporting, delivery becomes more predictable. For organisations rolling out or maturing Agile delivery, tailored training on your own Jira projects is a fast route to real, measurable improvement.

If your teams use Jira inconsistently, corporate training creates a shared way of working. Delivery leads gain visibility, administrators gain configuration confidence, and teams spend less time fighting the tool and more time shipping.

    • Standardise how teams track, prioritise and deliver work in Jira
    • Improve delivery visibility with consistent boards, dashboards and reports
    • Reduce manual effort with Jira automation and well-designed workflows
    • Upskill whole teams on your own Jira projects during hands-on exercises
    • Strengthen Agile and DevOps delivery across software and IT functions
    • Build in-house Jira administration capability instead of relying on outside help
    • Choose flexible onsite, live virtual or blended delivery across Morocco

Is Jira training worth it in Morocco?

Yes. Jira is the standard tool for Agile and DevOps delivery, and Moroccan employers in IT offshoring, banking, telecoms and engineering run their projects on it. Confident Jira skills make you more effective day to day and more valuable to teams hiring for delivery roles.

Do I need prior Jira experience to attend?

Not for the Fundamentals level. It is designed for people new to Jira, though basic familiarity with Agile or project management helps. The Advanced level assumes you have completed Fundamentals or have hands-on Jira experience already.

Should I choose Fundamentals or Advanced?

Choose Fundamentals (2 days) if you are new to Jira and want core skills in projects, issues, boards, sprints and reports. Choose Advanced (3 days) if you already use Jira and want workflows, schemes, custom fields, JQL, dashboards, automation and administration. You can take either or both.

Will I get a certificate after Jira training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Note that this is a non-certification course, so the certificate records that you completed the training and built practical Jira skills, rather than being a formal certification credential.

What is Atlassian Jira used for?

Jira is a web-based platform for issue tracking and Agile project management. Teams use it to plan work, run Scrum and Kanban boards, manage backlogs and sprints, track releases and report on delivery, which makes it the leading tool for software and DevOps teams.

    Pricing

How much does Jira training cost in Morocco?

Fees vary by level, delivery mode and group size, so pricing is available on request. Fundamentals is a 2-day programme and Advanced is a 3-day programme, offered as public or corporate sessions. Request a quote from a learning advisor for current pricing in Morocco.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all modules, hands-on Jira exercises, structured courseware and learning resources, and a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Contact us to confirm exactly what your chosen format includes.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with tailored schedules and volume-based pricing for software, IT and delivery teams in Morocco. It is often the best value when training several people together. Ask about corporate and group pricing for a quote.

Do I need to buy Jira software separately?

You should have access to a Jira environment for hands-on practice. Atlassian offers a free Jira Cloud tier for up to 10 users, while paid plans and Data Center are commercial Atlassian products. Confirm whether a shared training environment is provided when you enrol.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you and to arrange enrolment for yourself or your team.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the Fundamentals level?

You learn to create and configure Jira projects, manage issues across the Epic, Story, Task, Bug and Subtask hierarchy, run sprints on the Scrum board, use the Kanban board with WIP limits, plan releases with versions and roadmaps, write basic JQL filters, and read Agile reports.

What does the Advanced level cover?

Advanced covers custom workflow design with conditions, validators and post-functions, permission, notification, screen and field schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards and gadgets, Jira automation rules, and integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub and CI/CD tools, plus Jira administration.

    Is the training hands-on?

Yes. Both levels are delivered as instructor-led sessions with live Jira exercises throughout. You follow along in a Jira environment while the trainer demonstrates each feature, using realistic Agile software delivery scenarios so you build real proficiency.

Does the course cover Scrum and Kanban in Jira?

Yes. Fundamentals covers running Scrum with sprints, the sprint backlog and the active board, and managing continuous flow work on the Kanban board with WIP limits and a separate Kanban backlog. You also learn the Agile reports tied to each.

Will I learn JQL and reporting?

Yes. You learn to build and save filters, write JQL queries using common fields, operators and functions, and interpret reports including the velocity chart, burndown chart, sprint report and cumulative flow diagram. Advanced adds dashboards and gadgets for management reporting.

Which version of Jira does the course use?

The training is delivered on current Atlassian Jira, primarily Jira Cloud, with notes on Jira Data Center where relevant. The skills apply across Jira Software, and the focus is on the features Agile and DevOps teams use most in their daily work.

    Assessment & Completion

Is there an exam at the end of the course?

No. This is a non-certification course, so there is no exam at either level. Your learning is reinforced through hands-on Jira exercises and configuration activities during the training rather than by a formal test.

Do I need to finish Fundamentals before Advanced?

For the Advanced level, in effect yes. You should have completed the Fundamentals course or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience, since Advanced builds directly on core skills such as projects, issues, boards and basic JQL. Fundamentals has no such prerequisite.

How are my skills assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Throughout both levels you complete hands-on Jira exercises and configuration tasks that let you practise each feature as it is taught, so you can gauge and build your own proficiency during the training.

How long is each level of the training?

Fundamentals runs over 2 days (16 hours) and Advanced over 3 days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day sessions or extended half-day formats. You can attend either level on its own or take both in sequence.

Do the skills expire or need renewing?

No. There is no certification to renew and nothing expires. The practical Jira skills you build apply immediately and stay useful as you work, and you can refresh or extend them with the Advanced course later.
