    What is the difference between prevention-type and detection-type Poka Yoke?

    Prevention-type (control) Poka Yoke makes an error physically impossible or stops the process, the strongest form of mistake proofing. Detection-type (warning) Poka Yoke detects an error and alerts the operator immediately. The course shows when to use each.

    Are there hands-on exercises in the course?

    Yes. Hands-on error identification and Poka Yoke design exercises run throughout the day, so you practise on realistic process scenarios and, in corporate sessions, on your own real processes.

    Does the course include real case studies?

    Yes. You study worked case studies from manufacturing (automotive and electronics), healthcare (medication and surgical safety), service (airline and banking) and software, showing how simple Poka Yoke designs dramatically reduce defects.

    Is the course relevant beyond manufacturing?
