Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

PMI-RMP is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management, for professionals who identify, assess, respond to and monitor project and programme risk. It suits risk specialists, senior project managers, PMO analysts and consultants in Vilnius and worldwide.

    General

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

PMI-RMP is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management, for professionals who identify, assess, respond to and monitor project and programme risk. It suits risk specialists, senior project managers, PMO analysts and consultants in Vilnius and worldwide.

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Vilnius?

Yes. Vilnius is the EU's largest fintech hub with a fast-growing banking and business-services sector, where structured risk management is increasingly expected. PMI-RMP validates specialist risk expertise, helps you stand out and supports stronger salary bands. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

Is a PMP required before taking PMI-RMP?

No. PMP is not a prerequisite. You can apply for PMI-RMP directly based on your risk management experience and education, although many holders also hold PMP because the two credentials are complementary.

What standard is the PMI-RMP based on?

The exam follows the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) effective January 2022, aligned to the PMBOK Guide and PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, and covers predictive, agile and hybrid approaches.

How long is the PMI-RMP valid and how is it renewed?

PMI-RMP is valid for three years. You renew it by earning 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

    Is the PMI-RMP recognised internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential it is recognised by employers worldwide, and it is especially valued in high-risk sectors such as fintech, banking, energy and infrastructure where formal risk management is expected.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMI-RMP course fee?

The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 32 contact hours, practice questions, mock exams, application guidance and learner support with a course completion certificate. The PMI exam fee is billed separately. Request a quote for current pricing in Vilnius.

How much does PMI-RMP training cost in Vilnius?

Training in Vilnius is delivered in euros and varies by format and schedule, so pricing is available on request. Contact us for live online and corporate rates, and ask about group discounts for teams.

How much is the PMI-RMP exam fee?

PMI bills the exam separately in USD under regional pricing, for reference around USD 520 for members and USD 670 for non-members. Verify current fees on pmi.org, as PMI updates pricing periodically. Membership can lower both the exam and renewal costs.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs and risk teams in Vilnius. Ask about corporate pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What if I do not pass the PMI-RMP exam first time?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our training, practice questions and mock exams are built to prepare you thoroughly so you can sit the exam with confidence; re-examination fees apply to later attempts.

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 115 questions and lasts 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions delivered online or at a test centre.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and weights?

Five domains per the ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

How is the PMI-RMP exam scored?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

Where can I take the PMI-RMP exam?

Online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. You schedule within your one-year eligibility window once your application is approved.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP exam?

With a secondary diploma you need 36 months of project risk experience in the last five years plus 40 hours of risk education. With a bachelor's degree you need 24 months and 30 hours. A GAC-accredited degree reduces the experience to 12 months.

    Course Content

Can a beginner take PMI-RMP training?

The training welcomes professionals with some project experience and builds the risk skills step by step. To sit the exam you must meet PMI's experience and education requirements, and our 32 contact hours help satisfy the education prerequisite.

What topics does the PMI-RMP training cover?

The programme covers all five ECO domains: risk strategy and planning, risk identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, risk response, and monitoring and closing risks, plus exam and application strategy.

Does this training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

Yes. The 32 contact hours fully meet the 30-hour risk education requirement for bachelor's-degree and GAC-accredited candidates. Secondary-diploma candidates need 40 hours and should add at least eight more hours.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the PMI-RMP ECO, plus quizzes to help you find weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the current PMI-RMP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.
