What Root Cause Analysis Really Solves for Cambodian TeamsUntitledA Skill Your Workplace Uses Every Day

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Training in Cambodia teaches professionals a structured way to find the fundamental cause of a problem, defect or failure instead of treating the symptom. RCA is a practical, tool-based discipline that helps teams stop problems recurring rather than firefighting the same issues month after month. Over one intensive day (eight hours), you learn to define a problem precisely, gather evidence, and apply the core RCA toolkit: the 5 Whys, the Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA and the 8D problem-solving method. You also learn to choose the right tool for each problem and to build corrective actions that satisfy the ISO 9001:2015 corrective action requirement in Clause 10.2. As Cambodia's factories, exporters and service organisations mature their quality systems, employers value people who can investigate issues and prevent recurrence. This is a non-certification skills course, and you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. Start building capability your team can use from day one.

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

RCA training helps quality engineers, supervisors, operations staff and improvement practitioners move from fixing symptoms to eliminating causes. You gain a toolkit you can apply immediately to the problems your own workplace faces. Whether you work in a garment or footwear factory, an electronics or food plant, an IT service team or a compliance function, the skills transfer directly to the problems you investigate every week.

If you want to be the person who stops problems coming back, RCA gives you a clear, practical method. You leave able to define problems, run investigations, and hand over corrective actions your organisation can trust and verify.

    • Investigate defects and incidents with a repeatable, structured method
    • Apply the 5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA, FMEA and 8D with confidence
    • Choose the right RCA tool for the severity and type of problem
    • Write clear problem statements and evidence-based corrective actions

    For Organizations

    For Organizations

RCA group training equips quality, production and cross-functional teams to investigate problems the same way, every time. Delivered onsite or live virtual, it can be tailored to the defects and incidents your organisation actually deals with. For manufacturers and exporters under buyer and audit pressure, a consistent RCA method turns one-off fixes into lasting improvement.

If your teams keep solving the same problems, group RCA training creates a common investigation standard. People learn to find causes, agree corrective actions, and verify that they work before closing an issue.

    • Builds a shared problem-solving language across quality and operations
    • Reduces recurring defects, rework and customer complaints
    • Strengthens corrective action evidence for buyers and auditors
    • Aligns investigations with ISO 9001:2015 and CAPA expectations

Market Forces Making RCA Skills Essential in Cambodia

    Export Buyer Quality Pressure

Global brands sourcing from Cambodia expect formal 8D and corrective action reports for every quality escape, so factories need people who can investigate causes and evidence lasting fixes.

RCA builds structured corrective action skills

    Diversifying Beyond Garments

As Cambodia expands into electronics, automotive components and agro-processing, tighter quality systems demand robust root cause investigation to protect yields and reputation.

    RCA supports higher-value manufacturing

    ISO and Standards Alignment

With Cambodia moving toward full ISO membership, organisations must show they analyse root causes and prevent recurrence, exactly what the ISO 9001:2015 corrective action clause requires.

RCA underpins ISO 9001 Clause 10.2

    The Cost of Recurring Defects

Thin manufacturing margins cannot absorb repeated rework, rejects and complaints. Teams that reach true root causes cut waste and protect output instead of firefighting the same issues.

    RCA reduces rework and rejects

    A Structured Problem-Solving Gap

National reports flag a need for vocational and quality upskilling. Many teams lack a consistent investigation method, leaving problem-solving reliant on a few experienced individuals.

RCA equips teams with a shared method

    Food Safety and Compliance Demands

Cambodia's growing food and beverage sector must investigate nonconformances and HACCP failures rigorously, making disciplined root cause analysis a core compliance capability.

It is worth it because employers across Cambodia's factories, exporters and service teams value people who can investigate defects and prevent recurrence.

    General

What is Root Cause Analysis training and is it worth it?

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) training is a practical, non-certification course that teaches you to find and eliminate the fundamental cause of a problem rather than treating symptoms. It is worth it because employers across Cambodia's factories, exporters and service teams value people who can investigate defects and prevent recurrence.

Who should attend RCA training in Cambodia?

The course suits quality engineers and managers, production supervisors, operations staff, health and safety and compliance professionals, and anyone who investigates problems. It is open to all experience levels and needs no formal prerequisites.

    Is RCA a certification course?

Which standard does RCA training support?

RCA directly supports the ISO 9001:2015 corrective action requirement in Clause 10.2, which asks organisations to determine the causes of nonconformities and act to prevent recurrence. It also underpins CAPA processes in regulated sectors.

How long is the RCA training programme?

The programme runs for one intensive day of eight hours, covering RCA principles, problem definition, the 5 Whys, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, the 8D method, and corrective action verification, with hands-on exercises throughout.

    Pricing

How much does RCA training cost in Cambodia?

Pricing depends on the delivery format, whether individual or corporate, and group size. For current fees and a quote tailored to your needs, contact a learning advisor or request a quote.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led sessions, hands-on RCA tool exercises, case-study investigations, takeaway templates, learner support, and a course completion record. Request a quote to confirm what is included for your chosen format.

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you practise each RCA tool on realistic problems during the session, applying the 5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA, FMEA and 8D to build genuine capability you can use at work.

What do I receive after completing the training?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. There is no external certification, but the practical skills are immediately applicable to problem investigation and corrective action in any organisation.

Do I need prior quality experience to take part?

No prior experience is required. The course introduces RCA methods from first principles, so newcomers and experienced quality professionals both benefit. Some familiarity with quality concepts is helpful but not essential.

Does the completion record expire or need renewal?

No. There is no certification to maintain and nothing to renew, so the completion record does not expire. The RCA skills you gain are immediately usable and stay relevant across industries and roles.

    Course Content

What RCA tools does the course cover?

You cover the 5 Whys, the Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA in the RCA context, and the 8D problem-solving method, plus Is / Is Not analysis, Pareto and corrective action verification. You also learn when to use each tool.

How do the RCA tools differ from each other?

The 5 Whys suits simple, single-cause problems; Fishbone organises many possible causes; Fault Tree Analysis handles complex or safety-critical events; FMEA prioritises actions by risk; and 8D structures team-based corrective action. The course teaches you to choose the right one.

Are there hands-on exercises in the course?

Yes. You apply each tool to realistic problem scenarios throughout the day, including a 5 Whys investigation, a Fishbone workshop and an 8D report, so you leave able to run investigations in your own workplace.

Can the content be tailored to my industry?

Yes, for corporate sessions. We adapt examples and exercises to garment, food, electronics, agro-processing or service contexts, and teams can work on their own live problems during the training.

What will I be able to do after the course?

You will be able to define problems precisely, run 5 Whys and Fishbone investigations, apply FTA and FMEA, complete an 8D report, and develop and verify corrective actions that meet ISO 9001:2015 Clause 10.2.
