What Is Lean Fundamentals Training?UntitledA Practical Foundation in Lean Thinking
Lean Fundamentals Training in Cambodia is a one-day introductory programme that gives professionals a clear, practical grounding in Lean management, the systematic approach to maximising customer value while removing waste from every process. It is rooted in the Toyota Production System developed at Toyota by Taiichi Ohno and Shigeo Shingo, and in the five Lean principles set out by James Womack and Daniel Jones in Lean Thinking (1996). You learn to define value through the customer's eyes, map the value stream, create flow, establish pull and pursue continuous improvement. You also learn to recognise the eight wastes (DOWNTIME) and apply core tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, standard work and Kaizen. The course suits employees, supervisors, managers and improvement staff across Cambodia's garment, manufacturing, food processing and service sectors, wherever processes can be made leaner. No prior Lean knowledge is needed. Start building a shared Lean mindset with Invensis Learning.
