    What if I do not pass the PgMP exam first time?

    You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our training includes mock exams, an exam simulator and trainer guidance so you can identify weak domains and prepare with confidence. Reexamination fees apply to later attempts.

    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The PgMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour allotted time. It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

    The exam covers five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%).

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience. You must pass both the panel review and the written exam to earn the credential.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement per domain, so aim for broad mastery.

    Where can I take the PgMP exam in Iceland?

    You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or Pearson VUE within your one-year eligibility window.

    Do I need experience to take PgMP training?

    Anyone can join the training, but the credential requires substantial experience. PMI asks for four to seven years of programme management experience depending on your education, plus project management experience or an active PMP.
