    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It is mandatory in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

    How long is the PgMP certification valid?

    PgMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle, with at least 8 PDUs in each of Ways of Working, Power Skills and Business Acumen, within the three-year cycle.

    What is the format of the PgMP exam?

    The PgMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition. Questions span the five performance domains and include scenario-based items.

    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 170 questions with an allotted time of four hours (240 minutes). It is delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

    Five domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%).

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

    What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

    PMI permits up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our preparation resources and trainer guidance are designed to build readiness before you sit.

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PgMP Examination Content Outline and PMI's Standard for Program Management, 4th edition.

    Do I need prior experience to benefit from the training?

    The training is built for experienced practitioners, since PgMP eligibility requires substantial project and programme management experience. The sessions help you consolidate that experience and prepare for the exam and panel review.

    What are the eligibility requirements for PgMP?

    You must meet one of three sets: with a secondary diploma, 48 months of project experience (or an active PMP) plus 84 months of programme experience; with a bachelor's degree, 48 plus 48 months; with a GAC-accredited degree, 36 plus 36 months, all within the past 15 years.

    How do I enrol in the PgMP course?
