    What is the format of the PMI-CP exam?

    The PMI-CP exam has 120 questions to be completed in 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes). It is closed book with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions, delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or at a test centre.

    What domains does the PMI-CP exam cover?

    The exam covers four domains from the current PMI-CP Examination Content Outline: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%).

    How many attempts do I get for the PMI-CP exam?

    You are permitted up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period that begins when your application is approved. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all four domains.

    Which standard is the PMI-CP exam based on?

    What topics does the PMI-CP training cover?

    The training covers the four PMI-CP domains: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%), plus exam strategy and guidance on the prerequisite modules and application.

    What are the four mandatory PMI-CP prerequisite modules?

    Before applying you must complete four self-paced PMI-CP modules in any order: Project Communications, Interface Management, Scope and Change Order Management, and Contract and Risk Management. Each awards 14 PDUs, for 56 PDUs in total.

    Does this training meet the 35-hour PM education requirement?

    The instructor-led programme provides 32 contact hours, which is close to but below the 35 contact hours of project management education PMI requires. Check with our advisors whether supplementary self-study or pre-reading is credited toward the 35-hour requirement.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline, along with topic-wise quizzes, to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned to the current PMI-CP ECO?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and draws on the PMBOK Guide, so you study the domains and content the exam actually tests.

    What are the eligibility requirements for PMI-CP?

    PMI-CP has two parts. You must complete all four prerequisite modules, and meet one of three sets: high school diploma with 60 months of construction PM experience, a bachelor's degree with 36 months, or a GAC-accredited degree with 24 months. All sets require 35 contact hours of PM education.

    How do I enrol in the PMI-CP course?
