    What is the format of the IASSC Yellow Belt exam?

    The exam is closed-book with multiple-choice and true or false questions. It is delivered online with proctoring through the IASSC on-demand system, or at a Pearson VUE test centre, based on the IASSC Yellow Belt Body of Knowledge.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The IASSC Yellow Belt exam has 60 questions with a two-hour allotted time. Some forms include up to 6 additional unscored questions. Roughly 12 questions cover each of the five DMAIC phases.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    You should achieve a minimum score of 230 out of 300 points to pass. The training and mock exams help you build broad readiness across all five DMAIC phases so you can sit with confidence.

    Are there prerequisites to sit the exam?

    No. There are no prerequisites for the IASSC Yellow Belt exam. You can take it without prior education, experience or training, although completing a structured programme greatly improves your readiness.

    What if I do not pass the first time?
