What Is Six Sigma Awareness Training?UntitledYour Practical Route to Quality Improvement
Six Sigma Awareness Training in Fiji is a one-day, instructor-led programme that introduces the Six Sigma methodology, a data-driven approach to reducing process variation and eliminating defects. In a single eight-hour session you learn what Six Sigma is, how the DMAIC roadmap works, and the key concepts and roles that make improvement projects succeed. Six Sigma began at Motorola in the 1980s and spread worldwide after GE's landmark deployment. Its goal is famous: fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities. This awareness course gives employees, supervisors and managers enough understanding to contribute to and support Six Sigma work, without needing to become a practising Green Belt or Black Belt. For organisations across Fiji's manufacturing, tourism, food processing, banking and outsourcing sectors, a shared awareness of Six Sigma helps teams speak a common quality language and back decisions with data. You leave able to follow a DMAIC project, use the vocabulary with confidence, and see where improvement can be made in your own work. On completion you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning.
