Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a two-level EXIN BCS credential developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation level validates business analysis knowledge and the Practitioner level validates applying BA techniques in real project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level EXIN BCS credential developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation level validates business analysis knowledge and the Practitioner level validates applying BA techniques in real project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take this business analysis certification in Egypt?

It suits aspiring analysts, IT and finance professionals moving into a BA role, and practising analysts formalising their skills. In Egypt it is especially valued in banking, fintech, telecom and consulting, where demand for skilled business analysts is rising.

Is the EXIN BCS Business Analysis certification recognised in Egypt?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered institute for IT, so the credential is recognised across Egypt, the Middle East, Europe and beyond. Employers value it as proof of structured business analysis capability.

Do I need prior experience to start?

No. The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite before you sit the Practitioner exam, and our combined programme prepares you for both.

How long is the certification valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are for lifetime. Neither expires and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you pass.

How is this different from an IIBA certification?

This is the EXIN BCS pathway, aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, while IIBA credentials follow the BABOK Guide. Both are respected; the EXIN BCS route has strong recognition across the UK, Commonwealth, Europe and the Middle East.

    Pricing

How much does the training cost in Egypt?

Fees vary by delivery format and schedule, and the combined package usually includes both exam vouchers. Instructor-led and corporate options are priced separately. Contact a learning advisor for a current quote for Egypt.

What is included in the course fee?

Your fee typically includes EXIN BCS aligned courseware, industry case studies, and mock exams for both levels, along with guidance to clear both exams on your first attempt. Verify exam voucher inclusion when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Both EXIN exam vouchers are usually bundled into the combined training package, though inclusion can vary by plan. Confirm the current voucher arrangement with our team before you enrol. Ask about the exam-inclusive package.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We provide corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams and PMOs across Egypt. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the two BA exams?

Both exams are closed book with 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The Foundation exam tests knowledge across 14 topic areas; the Practitioner exam is scenario-based across 7 topic areas and requires you to apply BA techniques.

    What is the passing score?

The pass mark is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. This applies equally to the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam.

How and where do I sit the exams?

You can take both exams online through EXIN's proctored exam system or at an EXIN accredited location. They are usually arranged through your training provider as part of the combined programme.

How many exams are in the programme?

Two separate EXIN examinations. You sit the Foundation exam first, typically around day two, and the Practitioner exam at the end of the programme. You must pass both to hold both credentials.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the relevant EXIN exam; the re-sit policy and any fee are set by EXIN. Our mock exams and trainer guidance are designed to help you pass both exams on your first attempt. Verify the current re-sit policy at enrolment.

What standard are the exams based on?

Both exams follow the EXIN BCS Examination Specifications, which are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge and quality-assured by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

    Course Content

What will I learn in this business analysis course?

You will learn investigation and elicitation techniques, requirements engineering, business process modelling with BPMN, stakeholder analysis, strategy analysis and business case development, then apply them to realistic scenarios at Practitioner level.

Do I need business analysis experience to follow the content?

No prior BA experience is required to begin. The Foundation days build core concepts from the ground up, and the Practitioner days then apply them, so beginners and experienced professionals can both follow the programme.

    How long is the training?

The combined programme is 32 hours of instructor-led training, usually delivered over four full days, with Foundation content first and Practitioner content second. Schedules can vary across full-day and extended formats.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive EXIN BCS aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels to reinforce each topic area.

Is the courseware aligned to the current specification?

Yes. The courseware follows the current EXIN BCS Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so what you study matches what both exams assess.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website, choose live virtual or corporate delivery, and complete payment to receive schedules and courseware. New batches for Egypt run regularly. Talk to an advisor to see upcoming dates.

What training formats are available in Egypt?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training and customised corporate group training for teams. Both cover the full combined Foundation and Practitioner programme and fit around Egypt working hours.

Can a beginner enrol in this programme?

Yes. There are no prerequisites for the Foundation level, so beginners are welcome. The programme is structured to take you from core concepts to applied Practitioner skills in one journey.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or move to another batch on selected plans. Contact our support team to arrange a change that suits you.
