PRINCE2 Agile group training helps organisations connect project governance with agile delivery by equipping teams with a single, consistent hybrid approach. Skills You Will Build in This ProgrammeAcross Both Foundation and Practitioner

The combined programme helps you build hybrid delivery capability across both levels, from the agile mindset at Foundation to applied tailoring at Practitioner. By the end you can govern a project with PRINCE2 while delivering iteratively with agile.

    Blend PRINCE2 Governance with Agile

You will learn to combine the PRINCE2 project governance framework with agile delivery methods such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean Startup. This is the core skill of the hybrid method: governing a project at the direction and management level while teams deliver iteratively, so you keep control without slowing delivery.

Apply the Five Targets for Agile

Work with the five targets for agile and the PRINCE2 Agile hexagon, fixing time and cost while flexing scope. You learn how each PRINCE2 principle, practice and process is tailored for agile so delivery stays flexible and predictable at once.

Tailor the Method to Real Projects

At Practitioner level you learn to tailor PRINCE2 Agile to projects of different size, risk and complexity, selecting the right level of formality and agile intensity. Scenario-based practice builds the judgement the open-book Practitioner exam assesses.

    Prioritise Value with MoSCoW

Use MoSCoW prioritisation, product backlogs and sprint goals to focus delivery on the highest value first. You learn to connect each increment to the business case so every sprint delivers measurable value within fixed time and cost.

    Track Progress with Agile Metrics

Read and use velocity, burn-down and burn-up charts, Kanban boards and cumulative flow to make delivery visible. You learn to report agile progress to a project board in terms that governance stakeholders understand and trust.

    Lead and Engage Agile Teams

Apply servant leadership, map PRINCE2 roles to Product Owner and Scrum Master, and engage stakeholders early through reviews and demonstrations. You learn to build confidence, secure buy-in and coach teams within a governed structure.

    General

Is PRINCE2 Agile certification worth it in Germany?

Yes. PRINCE2 Agile is valued across German IT, automotive, finance and consulting employers that run governed projects with agile teams. With an acute IT talent shortage, professionals who can bridge PRINCE2 governance and agile delivery are in demand, and agile project manager roles in Germany average around EUR 88,000 per year.

What is PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner?

PRINCE2 Agile is a combined qualification that blends the PRINCE2 project governance framework with agile delivery methods such as Scrum and Kanban. Foundation validates comprehension of the hybrid approach, and Practitioner proves you can tailor and apply it in real project scenarios.

Who is this combined course designed for?

It suits project managers, PMO staff, Scrum masters, delivery leads and consultants working where PRINCE2 governance meets agile delivery. Foundation has no formal prerequisites, so it is open to anyone wanting to bridge structured control and iterative delivery.

Who governs the PRINCE2 Agile certification?

PRINCE2 Agile is owned by PeopleCert, which acquired AXELOS in 2021 and publishes the syllabus and delivers the exams. The credential is recognised in over 200 countries and is especially widely used across Europe.

How long is the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification valid?

PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking the Practitioner exam, completing continuing professional development through a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher-level qualification. Confirm current renewal options at peoplecert.org.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 Agile training cost in Germany?

Training in Germany is quoted in euros and varies by format and schedule. The PeopleCert exam fees for both levels are billed separately by the awarding body. For an exact figure, request a quote and we will confirm the training price and inclusions for your chosen format.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes accredited courseware, instructor-led sessions, practice questions, mock exams and exam-technique support for both Foundation and Practitioner. Exam vouchers may be bundled depending on the package. Ask a learning advisor for a detailed breakdown.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

It depends on the package. Some bundles include both PeopleCert exam vouchers, while others quote training and exams separately. PeopleCert exam pricing varies by region and channel, so request a quote to see exactly what your package covers.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs and mixed governance and agile teams across Germany. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you and to ask about corporate or group pricing.

    Exam

What is the format of the two PRINCE2 Agile exams?

The Foundation exam is closed book: 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, with a 60% pass mark (24 of 40). The Practitioner exam is open book using the PRINCE2 Agile publication: 50 scenario-based questions in 150 minutes, also with a 60% pass mark (30 of 50).

How many questions are on each exam?

Foundation has 40 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. Practitioner has 50 questions to be answered in 150 minutes. Both require 60% to pass, so 24 of 40 at Foundation and 30 of 50 at Practitioner.

What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

Foundation has no prerequisites. For Practitioner you need PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent. The combined course prepares you for both levels in sequence. Verify current accepted equivalents at peoplecert.org.

How and where do I sit the exams?

Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online with the OnVUE proctoring system, available around the clock, or at authorised test centres. You can sit them from home or office in Germany, or at a centre near you.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can resit the relevant exam through PeopleCert, and our training includes practice questions, mock exams and exam technique to help you prepare thoroughly. Selected plans include revision or retake support. Confirm the current resit policy at peoplecert.org.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 Agile course cover?

The course covers the agile mindset, blending agile with PRINCE2, the five targets for agile and the PRINCE2 Agile hexagon, stakeholder engagement, agile roles, risk and change, progress tracking, scaling and value-driven thinking, plus applied tailoring at Practitioner level.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no formal prerequisites, so beginners can start here. Prior familiarity with Scrum or Kanban helps but is not required. The programme builds from foundational comprehension up to applied Practitioner-level skill.

    Which agile frameworks are covered?

The course covers Scrum as the primary framework, along with Kanban, Lean Startup and Scrumban, plus awareness of scaling approaches. You learn how these delivery methods operate within the PRINCE2 governance structure.

Is the courseware aligned with the current syllabus?

Yes. Our courseware is aligned to the current PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner syllabus published by PeopleCert and AXELOS, so you prepare against the standard the exams are based on.

    What practice materials are provided?

You receive accredited courseware, practice questions mapped to both exams, full-length mock exams and open-book technique practice for the Practitioner scenarios, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the PRINCE2 Agile course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, accredited courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing.

What training formats are available in Germany?

We offer online live virtual instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training across Germany, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style. See upcoming batches or ask an advisor.

    How soon can I start?

New batches run regularly in live online and classroom formats. Check the upcoming schedules for the next available cohort, or contact a learning advisor to find a start date that suits you.

How long is the combined training?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme totals 32 training hours, typically run over four full days or spread across shorter sessions depending on the schedule. Foundation content comes first, followed by Practitioner.

    Can I reschedule my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include a pass to attend the training again. Contact our support team to arrange this.
