Is the Agile Scrum Foundation certification worth it in Germany?

Yes. ASF is a globally recognised entry-level credential from EXIN that proves you understand Scrum and the agile way of working, skills German employers actively seek across automotive, banking, IT and the public sector. It is a strong first step toward agile roles such as Scrum team member, project coordinator and, later, Scrum Master.

What is the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) certification?

The Agile Scrum Foundation is EXIN's entry-level certification that validates your understanding of the agile way of working and the Scrum framework. It is aligned to the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto and is the first level in the EXIN Agile Scrum certification scheme.

Who should take the ASF certification?

ASF suits anyone who works with or within a Scrum team, including professionals new to agile, project team members such as developers, testers and analysts, traditional project managers moving into agile, and students building credentials before their first role.

Do I need any prior experience or prerequisites?

No. The EXIN ASF exam has no formal prerequisites and needs no prior agile or Scrum knowledge, so it is open to complete beginners. Attending an accredited training course is recommended to prepare you for the exam.

How long is the ASF certification valid?

The certification is valid for lifetime. It does not expire, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you pass.
