Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Yes. The PMP is the global gold standard for project managers and is in strong demand across Berlin's technology, mobility, healthcare and consulting sectors. PMP-certified managers in Germany average around 81,000 euros, and senior roles reach far higher, making it a high-return credential for career growth.

    General

Is the PMP certification worth it in Berlin?

Yes. The PMP is the global gold standard for project managers and is in strong demand across Berlin's technology, mobility, healthcare and consulting sectors. PMP-certified managers in Germany average around 81,000 euros, and senior roles reach far higher, making it a high-return credential for career growth.

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential, validating your ability to lead predictive, agile and hybrid projects. It is designed for experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals who want globally recognised proof of their project leadership.

Which governing body awards the PMP?

The PMP is awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading project management body. The credential is recognised in more than 200 countries and referenced in employer job specifications and procurement requirements worldwide.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Berlin?

PMP training fees vary by format, from self-paced e-learning to instructor-led live online and classroom options. The training fee is separate from the PMI exam fee. For current Berlin pricing and batch details, request a quote or speak with a learning advisor.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application guidance, learner support and a course completion certificate with 35 contact hours.

Is the PMP exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PMP exam fee separately in USD under member and non-member rates. PMI membership reduces the exam fee and gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, so joining PMI before you apply can lower your total cost.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts for PMP training?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams and PMOs in Berlin. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation.

What payment and instalment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam has 180 questions to complete in 230 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions, delivered online via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a test centre.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The exam contains 180 questions and runs for 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two scheduled 10-minute breaks. This format is unchanged under the current PMBOK Guide 8th Edition alignment.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Results are determined through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all areas.

Which edition and outline is the PMP exam based on?

The current PMP exam is aligned to PMI's PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and the updated PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO). Our courseware is built around the 8th edition so you prepare against the latest standard.

What happens if I do not pass the exam?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our mock exams, practice questions and trainer support are designed to help you pass on the first attempt.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMP training?

You learn predictive, agile and hybrid project management, including scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk, stakeholder engagement, business analysis and value delivery. The curriculum maps to the PMP ECO and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

You can join the training at any stage, and it delivers the 35 contact hours PMI requires. To sit the exam you also need the leading-projects experience set out in PMI's eligibility paths. Our advisors can help you check where you stand.

What learning resources and materials are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PMP Examination Content Outline, an exam simulator, downloadable templates, flashcards and chapter-wise quizzes to support structured, exam-focused preparation.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes a large bank of practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes that mirror the 180-question exam, helping you identify weak areas and build readiness.

Does the course cover agile as well as predictive methods?

Yes. Roughly half of the PMP exam reflects agile and hybrid approaches, so the training covers Scrum, Kanban and hybrid delivery alongside traditional predictive planning, in line with the current outline.

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?
