    What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

    The PMI-ACP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published in January 2018. Questions are distributed across seven agile domains and include single-answer and multiple-answer formats.

    How many questions are on the PMI-ACP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 120 questions and a three-hour allotted time. It is delivered online with Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP?

    You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience in the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile project experience in the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders already meet the general project experience requirement.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so aim for broad mastery across all seven agile domains.

    What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?
