    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice paper with 40 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. It tests applied Scrum Master competency rather than pure recall.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions answered correctly. Because the exam tests application, focus on broad mastery across all five topic areas rather than memorising facts.

    How is the EXIN ASM exam delivered?

    You can sit the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. It is also available via accredited training providers, so you can take it in the way that suits you.

    What topics does the ASM exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), the Scrum Master Role (25%), Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control (27.5%), Complex Projects (12.5%) and Adopting Agile (15%), per the EXIN Examination Specification.

    What if I do not pass the ASM exam the first time?

    What will I learn in the ASM course?

    You will learn to facilitate Scrum events, lead as a servant leader, remove impediments, estimate and plan agile work, track delivery with burndown and velocity, and support scaling and agile adoption, all mapped to the EXIN syllabus.

    The course is accessible to motivated learners. EXIN recommends Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge, but the training covers the Scrum framework from the ground up, with hands-on exercises so beginners and experienced practitioners both benefit.

    How long is the ASM training?

    The Agile Scrum Master programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered over two full days or four half-days. The format gives you time to practise facilitation and work through exam-style questions.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full mock exams aligned to the 40-question EXIN format, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness before you sit the paper.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest EXIN syllabus?
