Are the exam fees part of the training price?

The programme leads to two separate exams, Foundation and Practitioner. Whether the exam vouchers are bundled depends on the package you choose. Ask your advisor which option includes both vouchers when you enquire.

What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice questions to complete in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation stage of the programme.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, with the AgilePM Handbook permitted. It has four scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each, 60 marks in total, over two hours. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 30 of 60 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the AgilePM Handbook during the Practitioner exam, but the questions require analysis and judgment rather than simple look-ups. Efficient handbook navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential, which the training helps you build.

How and where do I sit the AgilePM exams?

Both exams are delivered by online proctoring or at an authorised test centre, and are typically taken at the end of each stage of the training. You must pass both to hold the Foundation and Practitioner credentials.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

The programme includes structured preparation and mock exams to support a first-time pass. If a resit is needed, retake policies and any resit fees vary by provider and voucher, so confirm the details with your advisor before you book.

The course covers the AgilePM philosophy and eight principles, the lifecycle and management products, roles and responsibilities, MoSCoW prioritisation, timeboxing and quality, and planning, control and risk, at Foundation and Practitioner level.

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites, so newcomers to structured agile can start here. The training builds knowledge first, then application, so beginners and experienced practitioners both progress through Foundation to Practitioner with support.

You receive syllabus-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, plus learner support. The materials map to the current AgilePM exam syllabi and the AgilePM Handbook.

Is the courseware aligned with the current AgilePM syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the latest edition of the AgilePM Handbook published by the Agile Business Consortium.
