    Is the PMP worth it for professionals in Chile?

    Yes. In Chile, PMP-certified professionals are estimated to earn 35 to 45 per cent more than non-certified peers, and the credential is preferred or required in many senior roles across mining, energy, IT, banking and infrastructure. It is a strong return on your investment.

    Which standard and edition is the PMP based on?

    The PMP is governed by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is based on the PMP Examination Content Outline, with the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition as its primary reference standard. The training is aligned to that edition and to PMI's Agile Practice Guide.

    How long is the PMP certification valid?

    The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle, with a minimum of eight PDUs in each area.

    How much is the PMP exam fee?

    PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD. For reference only, it is around USD 405 for PMI members and USD 555 for non-members; verify the current fee at pmi.org. PMI membership is around USD 139 per year and lowers the exam cost.

    What is the format of the PMP exam?

    The PMP exam is a closed-book test of 180 questions using multiple formats: multiple choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank. It is delivered online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How long is the PMP exam and how many questions?

    The exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes, which is three hours and 50 minutes, including two scheduled 10-minute breaks. The questions are scenario-based and test how you apply project management principles across predictive, agile and hybrid contexts.

    What are the PMP exam domains?

    The current exam covers three domains: People (42%), Process (50%) and Business Environment (8%). The updated exam aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition uses five domains: Fundamentals (15%), Predictive Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks (27%), Business Analysis (18%) and Stakeholder Engagement (12%).

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP?

    There are two paths. With a four-year degree, you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma, you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

    What happens if I do not pass the exam first time?

    PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our mock exams, practice questions and trainer guidance are designed to prepare you thoroughly for a first-time pass.

    What will I learn in the PMP training?

    You will learn to lead predictive, agile and hybrid projects: planning scope, schedule, budget and quality; running sprints and backlogs; applying business analysis; and engaging stakeholders. The content maps to the PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

    Do I need prior experience to take the training?

    Anyone can attend the training, and it provides the 35 contact hours PMI requires. To sit the PMP exam you need project leadership experience: 36 months with a four-year degree, or 60 months with a secondary diploma. We help you plan your eligibility.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes aligned to the 180-question exam format. These help you identify weak areas, build recall and gain confidence before exam day.

    Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMP syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, covering both predictive and agile or hybrid approaches so you are prepared for the exam as it stands today.

    Will I receive a certificate after the training?

    Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate confirming the 35 contact hours of project management education, which counts toward your PMP application eligibility.
