Is the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification worth it in Nassau?

Yes. PRINCE2 Practitioner proves you can apply and tailor a structured project method, a capability valued by Bahamian employers in tourism, banking, telecoms and the public sector. Project managers in the Bahamas earn around B$68,497 on average, with senior roles reaching about B$84,685.

What is PRINCE2 Practitioner and who is it for?

PRINCE2 Practitioner (PRINCE2-P) is the advanced credential that validates your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 principles, practices and processes to real project scenarios. It is designed for project managers, team managers and delivery leads who already hold Foundation or an accepted equivalent.

Which body owns and awards PRINCE2?

PRINCE2 was created by AXELOS, which was acquired by PeopleCert in 2021. PeopleCert now owns, publishes and delivers all PRINCE2 qualifications. Exams are sat online via PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at authorised test centres.

    Is PRINCE2 Practitioner recognised internationally?

Yes. PRINCE2 is recognised globally and is especially strong across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Commonwealth markets, which includes the Bahamas. PeopleCert operates in over 200 countries, so the credential travels well across sectors and regions.

How long is the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification valid?

PRINCE2 Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking and passing the Practitioner exam, by completing continuing professional development through a PeopleCert MyAxelos subscription, or by passing a higher-level PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

What is included in the PRINCE2 Practitioner course fee?

The training fee typically includes PRINCE2 7 aligned courseware, scenario-based practice, mock questions, open-book exam technique coaching and learner support. The PeopleCert exam is usually arranged as part of an accredited training and exam package. Request a quote for a full breakdown.

How much does PRINCE2 Practitioner training cost in Nassau?

Pricing varies by format and whether the exam is bundled, so fees are available on request in Bahamian dollars. Live online, classroom and corporate options each carry different pricing. Talk to a learning advisor for a tailored quote.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

It depends on the package. Many learners choose a bundled training and exam option, while the PeopleCert exam fee can also be paid separately. PeopleCert pricing varies by region and channel, so confirm the current fee when you enrol.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing for teams?

Yes. We offer corporate PRINCE2 training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project teams and departments across the Bahamas. Ask about corporate or group pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you and request a quote.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, with the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual permitted. It uses scenario-based objective questions, including multiple choice, matching and assertion-reason formats, based on the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes (two hours 30 minutes) to complete it. Because it is open book, efficient manual navigation and deep method knowledge both matter.

What is the passing score for PRINCE2 Practitioner?

You need 60% to pass, which is 42 out of 70 marks. The questions require scenario-based analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers even though the manual is allowed in the exam.

What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

You need PRINCE2 Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A/B/C/D. There is no formal work-experience requirement, though the credential is designed for practising or aspiring project managers.

What if I do not pass on my first attempt?

You can resit the PeopleCert exam, and our training focuses on scenario practice and open-book technique to help you prepare thoroughly the first time. Confirm the current resit policy and fee with PeopleCert when you book.

Which edition does the exam test?

The exam is based on the PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) and the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus, aligned to the PRINCE2 7 Managing Successful Projects manual. Our courseware follows this current 7th edition throughout.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PRINCE2 Practitioner training?

You will learn to apply and tailor the seven principles, seven practices and seven processes to real scenarios, lead people and stakeholders, and govern roles, risk and change. The course also builds open-book exam technique for the Practitioner exam.

What is new in PRINCE2 7 compared with PRINCE2 6?

PRINCE2 7 (2023) introduces the People capability as a core element, renames Themes to Practices, and integrates sustainability and ESG, digital and data management, and commercial considerations. Management products and processes were also updated.

Can I take Practitioner if I am new to PRINCE2?

Practitioner is the advanced level and expects PRINCE2 Foundation knowledge or an accepted equivalent first. If you are new to PRINCE2, we can guide you on completing Foundation before you progress to Practitioner training.

    What learning resources are provided?

You receive PRINCE2 7 aligned courseware, scenario exercises, mock questions and revision aids, plus guidance on navigating the Managing Successful Projects manual efficiently under exam conditions.

How is the training delivered and how long is it?

The Practitioner course is delivered as a focused programme covering all nine syllabus areas, typically over about 16 hours of instructor-led learning. You can choose live online, classroom or corporate formats to suit your schedule.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website, choose your format, and gain access to schedules and learning resources. New batches run regularly. See upcoming schedules or talk to a learning advisor to pick a start date.

What training formats are available in Nassau?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training, so professionals across the Bahamas can choose the format that fits their schedule and learning style.

Do I need PRINCE2 Foundation before enrolling?

You can enrol in the training at any time, but to sit the Practitioner exam you need PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP or CAPM. We can advise on the right sequence for your situation.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch on selected plans. Contact our support team to arrange a change that works for you.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
